Back in 2006, a high school student died from an elevator accident in Tokyo. This was widely reported in Japan in those days, and the manufacturer Schindler Elevators had to exit the Japanese market due to this incident. Prior to this, there was a similar malfunction at 5 Times Square in New York City, that killed an operator.

Loch Ness may exist, but whether the Loch Ness Monster is also real remains to be seen. I also like the concept of multiple narrators in a Top 50 list.

I went to UNM. During the 70s, in one of the older halls a football player was horsing around one of the elevators. He got caught and was decapitated. Elevator is still there. Place is creepy.

So when Skyrim released in late 2011, orichalcum was still considered a myth. How quaint that in 2015, the mythical metal turned out to actually exist.

That's like saying that a food is "mythical" because no one wrote down the recipe. Not knowing exactly how to make an alloy that has been poorly described in ancient texts and apparently mined without much purification is not the same as a metal that never existed. Much like Roman concrete... they had a cool way to make it that got lost to history. But we know it existed. We're just having trouble recreating it.
@supercyberfunk11 ай бұрын
@ladyaj7784 No, because no one actually thought food was ever mythical at any point in time. Orichalcum was thought to have never actually existed, since people forgot about it entirely, until a recent discovery. Food is something ENTIRELY different.

The eating before bed myth doesn't work on me. I am what you would call an avid snacker. I snack regularly and often within the few hours before falling asleep. I also have an issue if I do dream, I rarely remember it. I get tired and fall asleep to black, then the next thing I know, I wake up. The downside to this is the few dreams I do remember are weird or creepy or both.

The problem with testing a 'cold' is variable. I've been debilitatingly sick twice in my life, some people get sick more than once a year! The immune system is extremely complicated and property research can't really be done because of it

I love going out in the rain and getting wet. I've also never had a cold. And it's really stupid seeing someone almost instantly get a cold when they've gotten only slightly wet. Colds take time to develop.

I was about to take a bath once, but decided to take a dump first, and was about to sit down when ... a rat jumped into my toilet, saw me, turned around and fled back down the pipe. After a moment of shock, I flushed the toilet to see him off and went about my business.

Yeah it's not the fact that it's the chicken soup is the fact that you're drained of energy with no food in your body and that's what you eat it's just the fact of something to eat I've tried it with other things and guess what it worked so it's not chicken soup
