I got some revenge against a particular Walmart for the choice of demotion or not getting requested work accommadations. I took advantage of their automated leave to allow me to choose which position I'd work in, got short-term disability insurance, applied to work at Target (in a job at the same position), got the Target job, and quit the exact week I was supposed to go back. That week was the first week of December 2022. I posted about it on Reddit under Malicious Compliance, and "Revenge is Ice Cream" picked it up as one of their middle stories for their videos, with my permission. I named exactly which Personal Person caused that for it too. I recommend my current co-workers go to other Walmarts. Personally, if I ever get famous and get asked about previous employers, that story will come up and Pritti will be called what she is "Only Pritti on the outside and in name."

I heard a story from my history teacher about the Nuremberg Trials. The hangman who was in charge of the executions had family and friends who died in the Holocaust. So he purposefully made sure the condemned prisoners didn’t die of a broken neck (as that’s considered merciful) but instead of slowly choking to death.

Your teacher is incorrect. The hangings at Nuremberg were conducted by US Army Master Sergeant John C. Woods and his assistant MP Joseph Malta. Neither of them of Jewish heritage. It may be of some comfort to know did they use the short drop method which many of them choked to death taking up to 15 minutes. Also the drop hole in the hanging platform was too small so some of these Nazis smashed their head against the edge of the hole on the way down.

A dear friend of mine (let's call him Paul), a brother-of-the-heart got revenge on his sister's boyfriend. The guy had been abusive to her (this is back in the 1970s) and he got wind of the abuse. One early morning around 4 a.m., while the guy was at home sleeping, Paul went to his house and took all the lug nuts off the guy's Camero that was parked in the street. The guy had a habit of just jumping into the car and racing off, squealing the tires. Paul was sitting about a block behind the guy's car where he could watch the revenge. The guy did exactly as Paul planned, ran out of the house, jumped into the car, and took off. He didn't get a good block before all four wheels went careening off. That could have been the end, but Paul didn't want to stop the torment. The guy would find one lug nut a day for 20 days in all sorts of places. One was mailed in a small box from Alaska (Paul had a friend he sent it to who repackaged it and mailed it). One would be in the sugar bowl, in his tool belt, the pocket of his jacket. He found one on the seat of the car one day, another day he found one in the ashtray in the car. He never did find out that Paul did it. Paul passed away two years ago, his sister never married the jerk either, which was good.

I got a revenge story - I was walking my dog to the beach when this guy who was a bully at my school started following me, asking me dirty questions and would not leave me alone. it was up to the point where I was crying and he said he would leave me alone if I did not tell anyone. I am not a good liar but my tears shielded my lie so when I got home, I told my parents and they told the police and ever since, that buggar never went near me again. The dog was fine btw but I did wish at the time he would bite him! I often think back on this memory as a reminded that if I ever got into a jam, to always tell someone I trust so it can be sorted out.

I told her he was tied up. She came to my house and he chased her all the way home. Sweet revenge!!

@gamester5125 ай бұрын
I was bullied _a lot_ as a kid, and it was so bad that at one point I wound up with a broken arm because of it. The bullying didn't stop until High School (and the school faculty did jack squat to stop it, even though they *_knew_* that I was being bullied, and my parents were understandably *_PISSED_* at the school when I wound up with a broken arm because of those bullies), when I'd gone through a sudden and massive growth spurt over the summer and went from being one of the smallest boys in school to one of the biggest and bulkiest (I even dwarfed some of my teachers in terms of both height and bulk by that point!). Only one time did someone try screwing with me in High School, but by then I was _done_ being the victim. I was alone at the time, and the would-be bully was flanked by two of his buddies as they taunted and heckled me. My response? I very calmly and slowly walked right up to the leader of the trio, and silently stared *_DOWN_* at him. Never said a word or lifted a finger, I was just silently daring him to start something. The punk and his two buddies promptly ran off with their tails between their legs and never bothered me again. And to me the best part was that I could see their entire thought process written on their face as plain as day, starting off all smug and cocky, then turning a bit concerned when they started to notice the size difference between us, to outright terror when they realized that I wasn't just bigger than them, I was so much bigger that they had to look straight up just to look me in the face. After all those years of being the victim of bullies, it felt amazing to finally have gotten some payback, and all without me having to say a word or lift a finger. But these days, so many years later, for the sake of my own sanity and mental health, I've long since forgiven my past bullies, though I would certainly like to receive an apology from them at some point, I'm not concerned about it even if I never get an apology from them.

From what I gather, the story that's most likely the truth about the Forty Seven Ronin is that it wasn't as honorable as they'd like you to believe. Their master was a hotheaded drunk and there is no proof the guy he slashed at was trying for a bribe (for one thing, everyone who knew Kira said he refused to take bribes). Most likely, the leader of the Ronin really *was* a womanizing drunk and was sick and tired of being taunted about how "you should've died with your master". They were hardly a sleeper cell.

If your act of revenge for some injury involves killing anyone who had no part in giving you that injury, then you are a villain and an aggressor in your own right. You are certainly not the hero of the story. If revenge can ever be morally justified at all, then one of its requirements for justification must be zero collateral harm to innocents. You can only avenge the specific people who directly injured you. Otherwise, your revenge is morally wrong and not justified.

I've always practiced the waiting method of revenge. I wait, years, before i take my revenge. You can then take your vengeance and often no one knows what happened if you spring from behind and aren't seen. You can be as vindictive and malicious as you want, and no one knows it was you.

My ex told me I couldn't graduate college without debt. I not only got my Associates in ECE without debt, but then went on to get my Masters in Theology without debt and have written and published a book without falling into debt.

I wonder if Marvin Heemeyer took inspiration from the film of the same name? *_"Killdozer! is a 1974 made-for-TV science-fiction horror movie, adapted from a 1944 novella of the same name by Theodore Sturgeon.[1] A comic book adaptation appeared the same year, in Marvel Comics' Worlds Unknown #6 (April 1974). The film has since gained a cult following."_* -WIKIPEDIA
