Forgive me for repeating this: Silver and Tres Nuit are synthetic chemical messes. Indaviduel is excellent. MB are all great values at discounters. "Cheap" is as relative as preference, however. £100 100ml tester of Mefisto Gentiluomo is a great cheapie, IMO. The best version of SMW... I'm wearing it right now.

I'd recommend Sillage or Afnan Supremacy in Heaven as better SMW clones. Do love the fresh aspect of this DNA.

Detour Noir's atomizer should be pressurized. They make detour rouge in the same bottle design but that's atomizer is not pressurized so I wonder if your bottle of detour Noir is in a bottle that was designed for detour rouge? I don't get vics vapor rub at all, I get spicy almond vanilla from start to finish. I will say you're not the first person to say it smells like vic's vapor rub, and my detour rouge smells like detour Noir with tobacco added. I also think Dylan Blue should be added to this list imo, it's not that expensive and you can't find good deals from time to time and it's fantastic.

I love Dylan blue. I would also consider it as on the cheaper side. Great value
