Hey there! It's not a strange question at all. Bear problems are nothing to scoff at. Unfortunately, that outdoor composter isn't bear-proof. Actually, none of them are as far as our list is concerned. To stop a bear, a composter would have to be made of heavy metal and feature complex locking mechanisms. Even then, some bears are capable of tearing through car doors and car trunks if they sense food inside. If you have bear issues, I'd recommend enclosing this composter with a tall strong fence. How much kitchen scrap will the FCMP rolling composter hold? How long until the compost is ready to use?

Great questions! The answer depends on how much kitchen scrap your home produces on a daily basis. That particular composter can hold 19 gallons of composts which should last up to 3 weeks for most homes. As for how long you have to wait before the compost is ready, that depends on how much sun the compost is exposed to so it's best to roll the composter at least once a day. You can add a bit of moisture while you're at it along with some leaves and grass clippings. Also, cut up your kitchen scraps whenever possible. The smaller the scraps, the faster it'll compost.
