rFactor has been around longer and is actually better than iRacing in terms of physics. It just never had a MP scene so I'm A LOT more hyped for their product tbh.

My fear is that Assetto Corsa 2 will have the same issues as rFactor 2 had. The huge community from the first game, knows that to expect, how to get the best out of it etc. It is also a game that runs on most PC's these days. If the new game will try to be as relevant, if not more relevant - then they need to push the graphics, have a higher complexity in the simulations etc. This sounds very good. However, that will hinder a sizeable group from AC to access it properly on release. Higher simulation complexity, means that modders will have a lot more work to do, to make the cars, tyres etc. be of a good standard. This is still hindering rFactor2-modding. The tyre-model is so complex, that many are still struggling to get the best out of it, and it can end up not working as the mod-creator intended.

The devs of GTR Revival and not GT Revival were just not behind the creation of Project Cars series, but also from NFS Shift 1 and 2 and the most important of them, GTR and GTR 2 FIA GT Racing game. That's why it's called GTR Revival.

I am VERY interested in what GTRevival is doing with the AI commentary and AI crew chief. AI has been in games for literal decades, so I'm not upset about them using the AI here. My only question is did they pay the people whose voices they are using? Other than that, it looks like a revival of the Project Cars 2 engine, and I'm excited about that.

I loved test drive unlimited. I remember playing that game while that movie Forgetting Sarah Marshall was out. They were both set on the same island. I kept trying to look around for a locations I recognized in the movie. Life just got worse after that.

I like the old Le Mans game, which I have on both the Dreamcast (as Test Drive: Le Mans) and Playstation 2 (as Le Mans 24 Hours). I hope the new one isn't locked behind always-online DRM if I'm only interested in playing single player career mode.

The concept of GT revival sounds so cool, especially being able to talk to an AI race engineer to help with set ups at each track! Thats nothing short of revolutionary. However, for racing fans that have been reeled into anything with a Project Cars title before, they'll surely be left with a sour taste of skepticism towards anything that team touches. PC1 was their most honest and least offensive release, with PC2 and 3 gaining more and more reputation respectively for ponzi-esque marketing, a lack of accountability in their shortcomings and hollow promises, and unpolished final releases that reek of a lack of passion and complete disregard for the consumer.

I love my ACC since single series competitions are what I'm looking for, so I'm not that excited with AC2 and going back to the old formula. Apart from that, I'm still following GTRevival, as I quite liked they take on simracing with Project CARS 1/2, and I'm excited to see what they can offer.

yup...i use to be in F12019...the last F1 sim to carry the classic F1 cars. The best and the Fastest F1 cars. My main car...the F2004 and it was perfection! Why they stopped putting the older cars in the F1 games after 2019...freggin who knows! one word tho...MISTAKE.

Unless they somehow have an AI system that is on a different level my bet is that it will just spew some canned responses back at you that may or may not be related to your question. I stand to be proven wrong but it just doesn't seem plausible otherwise.

No mention of a single bike racing game, apparently bike racing isn't racing, since I started playing bike racing, I've been having a lot more fun than car racing games because with bikes you can actually battle with others and you need a lot more focus because if you mess up once you crash, you can get away with many mistakes in car racing, that's a bit boring for me these days, MotoGP is a lot more fun than most car games so I'm looking forward to GP 24 where I can have real races and not simply set fastest laps because you can't pass someone because there's no room to do so, let's be honest with cars you can only overtake down the straights 95% of the time.

I think AI powered NPC conversations will be the equivalent to the rise of open world gaming. the will come many specialised games, which will rely on you comunicating to play the game. a bit later it will become the standerd of many genres of games. I hope all of these have the "Motion Sensor" Option....which should be MANDATORY in ALL racing sims/games. The Motion Sensor option is just a Basic Common Sense piece of the puzzle and a very easy piece to add. As far as I know, the only racing game that has the MS Option is Gran Turismo. The developers of GTSport and GT7 have a bit of Common Sense and that makes me feel all warm and fuzzy in me tummy. Come on man...its 2024 and we gotta get RID of those stupid JOYSTICKS! Cant freggin steer a 1000HP death trap with freegin Joysticks! Uh but Smokes get wheel ya dummy! what?! a wheel? whaaat? they got those?? For games? come on dude....some of us cant afford the wheel setup....and with the Motion Sensor option, we just turn our Controller just like a wheel...no dumb joysticks involved. and it's free and almost better than a wheel..... ya know how many lap time records Ive broken at Nurburgbring using the motion sensor? A LOT ! thats bout all I do these days...jump in 1000hp death machine and break time records..... again for those who are a lil thick.......with what?? yeeeah...the motion sensor.
