Pete was a South African penguin so he wasn’t used to the cold. Incase anyone was wondering how a penguin died to pneumonia. After he died, they stuffed him and had him placed in the lobby of the civic arena. He was stolen and never seen again.

Lol pneumonia doesn't come from the cold or warm or is it a disease. It just means any excessive fluid in the lungs except that from drowning. They didn't keep the penguin outside in the cold either and the zoo there all the pens have inside habitats that are heated or cooled as case may be. Also the islands where they live aren't exactly warm either lol it dies snow in a Africa rarely but more imprtant those islands about two hundred kms south actually freeze up winter time. Reason people or animals get more pneumonia in cold isn't the cold. Quite the opposite. Penguin likely got a virus off another bird while it was inside too close quarters.

It was actually a "name the team" sweepstakes that had over 6,000 submissions and Rubber Puckies was just a funny one that was suggested, potentially by a 5 year-old. The 15 finalists were Blades, Breakers, Breeze, Condors, Fog, Gold, Golden Gaters, Golden Skaters, Grizzlies, Icebreakers, Knights, Redwoods, Sea Lions, Sharks and Waves.

I like the Blades. It was used in WHA, but that’s not current. Some person out there would say it promotes knife violence and have it banned!! A la Washington Bullets !! Can’t have that, gun violence!! Renamed Wizards. Hypocritical as witchcraft (Wizards) was chosen over innocent Bullets!!

Not sure how true this is, but I've heard that in the Shark's logo, the shark is eating the Pittsburgh Penguins logo because the owner got beat out by Pittsburgh in the last expansion bid and he was still butthurt about it. The triangle is inverted, and the hockey stick being but belongs to the penguin

The Cooperalls were totally UNsafe as they were slick. if you fell at 20MPH , …. Like you do on skates, you slid at 20MPH until you hit something to stop you. Can you imagine Pavel Bure falling and then sliding at 30Mph? He’d break his neck

One side note on the Penguins' Pete Mascot, the penguin was not a penguin from the South Pole, but a warm climate penguin, which may have led to it's pneumonia diagnosis.

Dude you really have to start proofreading your videos. I genuinely do enjoy your uploads, but the consistent mishaps undermine the professionalism of an otherwise great video. I never want to be that guy, but there's always one or two in every video.
