Hey Hari thank you for watching ✌️.... Getting your first job as a mechanical engineer is tough, I am a mechanical engineer myself, I know it. What I can suggest is just write down specific industries in which you want to work like electric vehicle, special purpose machine, renewable energy, submarine, aviation, and so on. Then pick roles you want to work in like structure design, CAD modeller, FEA engineer, production engineer and so on. Then go ahead and look for top companies in those industries, look for the jobs they are offering, check out the skills needed for different job positions from their job description and then start learning those skills. (Try to get as many companies in each industry as you can, as this will come handy in application process). You can use LinkedIn learning, Udacity, Udemy, edX, MIT open course to learn. (There are many more just google) After that go back to the list you created and start mailing your resume, reach out to HR and past employee on LinkedIn. Will this get you a job, I don't know, but you should give it a try, you will at least learn new things. All the best 👍, I hope you get your dream job 🤞

Thank you sir. i have question what are the things i should learn during mechanical engineering now i am in second year.
@vikashkumar56553 жыл бұрын
First of all, start feeling like you have already become a mechanical engineer.(yeah i mean forget there is anything like 2nd or 3rd or 4th year( always feel like i am the one the one )) And strictly follow these( with one full glass of milk daily, kiddo) 1) Basics, like IC and EC engine and their curves don't you dare to forget them. 2) Mechanism, hmm an interesting topic you'll like it( only if there is any mechanical engineer inside you, but if there is a "sarkari naukri guy" ( ssc cgl, mts and blah blah.. then leave the comment immediately. 3) Learn a language( If you'd ask me, I'd suggest python), and it is must from now on. And don't follow your friends they are never gonna learn "L" of the language.( And it will also not make you a cse student😂) 4) a) Go to udacity, pick a computer vision coure(its free there) it will took your 6 month or more depending on your learning pace. 4) b) Try to look for what is going in the industry right now. Thats why I suggested you the computer vision course. 5) The coolest part ( for your resume), take those learning to others. Yeah I mean start explaining those learned topics to your friend, prepare ppt on that and take seminar of 1st year students. 6) Try to come up with an idea even atleast one, within your learning period. 7) Last but not the least learn English, a fluent one. If you will take any of the suggestion seriously. You're gonna fukcing rock. On the funny side 'huuuuh mackechi sala" 😂😂 Peace out.

Great info!!! Totally appreciate the effort I would suggest efficient engineer KZbin channel to understand mechanical engineering basics in a cognitive way Special note to recent graduates: 1) choose your area of specialization wisely down the line you would totally hate yourself for not being picky in the initial days 2) since I got some good design engineering experience (4 years) I can safely say that CREO/ SOLIDWORKS/ INVENTOR CAD softwares are prominent in the design industry these softwares grab a fair share in the job market

Hey Siva thank your for watching. For 2D design learn AutoCAD For 3D learn solidworks. (Learn sheetmetal, weldments, plastics as well not just 3d modelling). Also learn ansys abd cfd as well. (There is a good free course on edx). Learn Arduino or rasberry pie and do some projects with it. For started try to get an internship in any company in mechanical industry, then after learning the above tools pick an industry u want to work in, list down 100 companies in that domain, then look at the job roles they have for freshers (0-2), check out the skills needed and learn if u dont have those skills. I would suggest make atleasr one physical project where u do 3d modelling, fabrication, coding, some electronics to show recruiters u know something. All the best 👍 (Typing from mobile, please ignore typo errors)

Vibration, lubrication are mandatory for ME's. Python, ML basics, basic robotic, CAD 3d, Basic of FEA and CFD will give an upgrade to your resume . NC machining may also help you during the whole professional life. Presently PLC programing is also much needed. During graduation, always grab some extra courses.
