Hey man keep up the good work! Here is a video idea. Make a KZbin series behind designing something simple like a iPhone stand. The series would be composed of videos where each video would emphasize the design based on the manufacturing method used for the iPhone holder. Meaning that one video could be about designing an iPhone holder via 3D printing, another would be designing an iPhone holder via injection molding… and so on. This would allow us to see how a design would change slightly depending on the manufacturing being used to make the iPhone stand.

@@dirkmcgurk thanks for answering, I live in FL and was curious. Do you feel your pay gives you a decent middle class living Have you been offered any 100k positions or do you think you’ll be there in the next few years
@dirkmcgurk
@dirkmcgurk 5 ай бұрын
@@ryanmoore5237 no, if my wife didn’t make more than double what I make, I don’t think we’d be living nearly as comfortably. I would consider us middle-class, maybe slightly upper middle. We are definitely not living easy because of her salary, but if she made the same as me, we’d have to make a lot of lifestyle changes. Currently working on securing my next job. I have an offer at 90k, and another at 95 that I’m trying to play off one another to get to 100k+.

I am a mechanical engineering graduate. I have interest in designs what should i do try to get a job in design field or do masters and if master which course should i pursue for a good pay. Please reply 😅
@montalbert
@montalbert 4 ай бұрын
My recommendation would be: Job first, master's second. The job will give you clarity about what you'll end up doing in a field. This will give you time to adjust if new aspirations emerge or your interests change along the way. It will allow you to tackle your master's with hands-on knowledge which is going to be super valuable. However, don't delay the master's for too long either: scaling up your career will depend on it and going back to school after more than 5 years will be a challenge.

I'm Jahanzeb from Pakistan. I graduated with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering in November 2023. Despite seven months of job hunting in Karachi without success, I've returned home to Shikarpur. Now, I'm seeking guidance on my career options as I feel lost and uncertain about what steps to take next.

Take some course certification like CATIA,Creo,SolidWorks,Inventor and AutoCAD. If possible aim for Dubai and Saudi as there is lots of scope for oil and gas companies.There are verification course like NEBOSH for safety but don't know how relevant it is today....I would say if you have a relative in the middle eat try your luck by visiting and staying for a month or 2
