Using Leatherman Charge TTI with S30V blade for the last 13 years. Best multitool ever saw and used. Used it a couple of times to break out of a storage building with a broken door handle. Used it for all in-home assembling (mostly IKEA) and adjusting stuff. Used the saw blade to cut small branches and make hide. Used the file to sharpen spear points! Using the blade regularly for opening boxes, letters and etc. I even used the blade for filleting and skinning FISH! That S30V blade only sharpened once (recently when I got my new sharpening system). So, the S30V blade held the working edge (paper slicing sharp) for 13 years! Ok, I am not using it every single day, but still, that is a very long time to stay sharp! If I had to rely on single EDC tool that would be my Leatherman Charge TTI. You may also consider getting one!

Perpetua was designed by TJ Swartz, not Ferrum Forge(they'd never design something like this) and it has Nitro-v not Aeb-l. Very similar steels with Nitro-v supposedly having a finer grain structure than Aeb-l, though it being a low carbide razor blade steel archiving hardness of 64hrc I don't know how much finer you can get.

I hope that you haven’t done anything harmful to uncle randy. I know he can be tough on you at times, and sometimes, even a little “extreme.” But he’s a solid American. A true patriot. One dude I would go anytime to have a drink with, even if I was still working. Uncle randy is a great American. And as I write this, I actually carry a little lube with me at times... I’m ashamed. Tbh, what would a police officer think when they find lube in my edc bag and a bunch of knives. They’ll think I’m weirder than ol uncle randy, and I’m half japanese, so they would throw me in jail here in Cali. On that note, I’ll stop carrying the lube 😐. This was one of the first channels I found on KZbin, with THE ABSOLUTE MOST BRUTALLY HONEST knife talk I have found. You are hip to the trends, but don’t always sync with them, you do your own thing while reviewing, and you think for yourself. Your level of creativity is very clear. And it’s very amusing for us. I actually save up my videos when you release them, so I can have the true “binging” effect I get with shows on tv. You are more entertaining to watch, than some of my mainline Comcast/Xfinity TV channels on major channels. We have forged in fire and some other knife making show and they’re ok... but this is effing magical what you do dude. For years I’ve been saying this to my friends who I try to get into knife collecting, or at least to have a feeling for what I’m always going on about. First place I point them is here.
