Excellent video - I hold - Hamiltons - HMAX - well diversified - Canadian Financials / Also held is their ETF - UMAX - utilities & telco - industrials - both yielding 13% but only trades the cover calls up to 50% of the stock value / uniquely run…. So far the income has been consistent 😊

I have a very large holding in HGY, which holds GLD and sells calls on 1/3. Only 6-7 points, but come on; cash flow from gold, while maintaining 2/3 spot price exposure. Everybody should have a gold allocation, 10-15%. It's disaster insurance.

Good video but here are some suggestions for the next one: 1. Pick unique funds (e.g. CALL and CALL.U are the same product) 2. Pick funds with at least 5-year history so that we can see their track record 3. Pick funds where the dividend yield is less than their total return. Otherwise if they distribute more than they earn, then they are simply running down their NAV to zero. These types of funds are not very useful. It's much more useful to look at sustainable (financially, not ESG) funds that grow their NAV. These funds will be suitable for investors who want to earn passive income (i.e. which is the main reason of investing in high-yield funds).

Good ETF Picks Mark. I hold most of them in my portfolio. I also like USCL or USCC if you don't like leverage, and EQCL or EQCC.

NUBF - dividend payout per month is .07 not sure how that turns into a yield of over 12%. It's more like almost 4% per year!

I haven't checked all of them but HYLD and BANK have monthly distributions. Good for retirees!
