Mornington Peninsula: I noticed you had dropped into some of my local beaches around the Mt.Martha area, namely Birdrock Beach. I used to go there everyday and swim, even in winter. I've done heaps of snorkeling / spear fishing around there as well, although a long time ago. I was lucky enough to grow up here and still live in the area.

It’s a 9 hour drive, but ends up being longer if you take breaks. I used to drive up with family. It is a nice drive, beautiful ocean or inland views depending on which route you take.

Yes. It’s still warm, but not too hot. 9 hour drive + breaks and possibly hotel stays. I wouldn’t drive on the coastal roads on a rainy day, already scary as is 😂
