Y'all definitely deserve more likes and followers! Your videos are great and it's helpful to know that you guys survived without even knowing how to drive a manual because I'm relocating the same van you rented from Brisbane to Melbourne BY MYSELF. I'm a little nervous to say the least lol! Thanks for making these guides. Keep up the good work. :)

Blake, you did so well with the manual transmission. The first time I tried driving one; I was going to pull out of a parking space; put the car in first gear, instead of reverse, drove over the curb onto the sidewalk: my Dad was mortified. I look forward to the rest the drive along the the coast. Thank you for giving the drive between Sydney and Melbourne scale; did not know the the distance was that great.

I have not driven manual yet, but I'll need to try it sometime in order to get lower rental costs overseas. The coast looked quite amazing going from Sydney to Melbourne. Although the drive looks rather long, at least the scenery is not a bit dull! I'm glad you made it to Melbourne without much of a problem!

It is definitely the reason we chose it - manual = cheaper! Very long drive and much more driving to come on this trip!

Will be doing this trip from Sydney to Melbourne and I know it's going to be a very long drive and I have to complete it in a day. This means that I'm going to drive for more than 12 hours on that day. Btw, I'll be driving the inland trip from Melbourne to Sydney just to save me a bit of time but it will still be around 10 hours drive. Some people said that I can do it in 8 hours but that should be a non stop driving which means you're not stopping for petrol or a toilet break which is impossible for me. Anyway, great content and keep up the good work. Cheers!

Hi, I am planning on a similar road trip from Sydney to Melbourne. Really wondering how to find spots for showers and bathrooms. How did you guys did that? Thanks
@OnTodaysAdventure2 ай бұрын
Bathrooms were easier, just go to any coffee shop or gas station and you can use theirs. For showers, you will need to book RV Campgrounds with services. The national Park we went to on the first night also have showers, so check those websites! Have fun!

You know driving from sydney to melb is only 8 hours. You could have done this in 1 day or even 2 days if you were short gor time.
@OnTodaysAdventure7 ай бұрын
of course you can do it faster, that’s not the point of this video. we are doing the roadtrip and stopping in as many cool places as possible! so much to see and do in between Sydney & Melbourne.

Don’t ever call a Hobnob Australian again. They’re a British biscuit and we’re bloody proud of them.

We will need to go to the UK to get them from the source 🫡
