1. GAUSHÀLA
Gaushàla is a one of the best where you can visit.it is a Muncipality.It is a big market of Mahottari.You can buy low cost price of compare to Nepal. It is too cheap place in Nepal.
2.Tuteshwar Nath
It is a one of the best Temple of Mahottari district. You can visit forest and Mountain in this temple. You can visit in shrawan months.
3.JALESHWAR TEMPLE
Jaleshwar Mahadev Temple (Nepali: जलेश्वर महादेव मन्दिर) is a hindu temple of Shiva situated at Mahottari district, Nepal.
[1] Pilgrims visit this temple on MahaShivaratri and Vasant Panchami.
[2] The city of Jaleshwar where this temple is located is named after this temple.
[3] Records indicates that the temple was in existence from the time of King Janak. It is believed that during the marriage between Rama and Sita, soils were taken from this temple.[
4] A copper inscription in the temple indicates that to administer the temple, in 1869 BS, king Girvan Yuddha Bikram Shah provided 275 bighas of land.
[5]The temple is constructed with Gumbaja architecture. In the middle of the main temple, there is a square Shiva Linga which lies below water. There is a pond near the temple.[5]
4. Bardibas
Bardibas is a municipal area (municipality) and a town located in Mahottari District of Province No. 2 of Nepal. It is located at latitude: 26°54'6.84" to 27°08'46.90" and longitude: 85°47'42.67" to 85°56'42.97". The municipality is surrounded by Dhanusha District in the East and Sarlahi District in the West, Bagmati Province falls in the North and Bhangaha, Aurahi and Gaushala municipalities are located in the South.
5. Mai Sthan Temple
Maisthan is a village development committee in Mahottari District in the Janakpur Zone of south-eastern Nepal. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 6739 people living in 1272 individual households.
6. Padaul Than
Balawa is a municipality in the core of Mahottari District of Janakpur Zone in south-eastern Nepal. The municipality is formed by mixing five VDC like Balawa, padaul, banauta, badiya-banchauri, dhamaura. As balawa was a popular VDC among these VDC that's why this municipality is named as Balawa municipality. The municipality have every infrastructure that a municipality should have. There are hospital, bank, market, Illaka police office, business centre, playground, library, hospital for animal, water tank, Bus stop, and lastly the famous college for which balawa is renowned. The municipality have direct road connection with Janakpur. Balawa bazar is quite more developed than other surrounding bazzar. The municipality have 11 ward having representative of each. The municipality have more than 25000 population with different caste, creed, ethnicity.
7. Chini Mil
Sugarcane famers of Mahottari district have intensified their protest against Everest Sugar Mill demanding payment for their crop. The protest was held after the mill failed to release the payment of around Rs1.78 billion to sugarcane farmers, who had supplied the crop this year.
