I understand why parents don’t want to discipline their kids because they don’t want to make them upset, but it leads to this issue where the child is old enough where they know they are consciously manipulating their parents to get what they want because the parents are soft. The outbursts and behaviour of these kids perfectly display how some parents need to learn healthy parenting tactics and how to be firm, as well as evaluating if their current lifestyle has time to care for their kids, so👏this👏doesn’t👏 happen👏
@e.ashton2 жыл бұрын
True, and sometimes they use ways that are incorrect like screaming, shouting, spanking and scaring children to make them listen. Honestly none of those ways can actually properly make kids listen, some might listen but they will cause problems when they are older.

I am unsure of what you mean by discipline on toilet training. The easiest way to do it is to begin 3-6 months ahead of time for boys and girls and make it calm, pleasant and expected. No nonsense approach. Like teaching them to brush teeth. The only potty problems I have ever noted are from parental laziness. TRUTH!

I have two sisters, and my parents potty trained us well just as I get older the less attention I get and that's normal, at least I think because I'm used to it. But here's some advice, please if you ever have more than one child try to spend equal amounts trying to care and giving all attention. It makes the children feel happy and like you care, and to discipline them don't make them scared. Teaching them that discipline equals being scared makes them think that is right and that is how they are raised so the cycle will continue.
