Nagchikahan kami nung nag interview sakin I was just getting a 10 days US visa kasi mag e-exam lang naman ako, my first time to travel as in wala first time! unemployed din and as in 50k lang laman ng bank ko! Guys dapat confident kayo and friendly and be truthful ako bukang bibig ko talaga non "Im gonna going to take the exam only and the remaining days maybe explore the area" ganern! Tinanong din sakin after that 10 days ano gagawin ko siyempre uuwi i only have small money in my bank and thats the truth i dont even know if after i take the exam and the remaining days i will go out area and explore. Ganun sagot ko dun pero happy lang yung genuine self ko lang. and guys binigyan ako ng multiple entry!

Basic guys. I noticed that majority of Filipino visa applicants, don't even know how to say a basic greeting of say "good morning" to the Vice-Consul, the official title of Consular Officials doing the interviews at the US Embassy. Yun pang Kano ang nag good morning. Pag katapos mong mag good morning/afternoon, I'm Mr so and so, I wish to apply for a visa to visit your country. May I present my passport? Abot mo na Ang passport mo. As per my experience, having a US visa, could practically "enhance" the chance of being granted visas in Canada, china, Japan, and even Europe. Btw, how will you handle a question by the Vice-Consul "why would you like to travel to the USA, when you haven't even travelled to Japan, which is very near the Philippines? Panic na Yung iba di ba? Guys, please bear in mind that foreign travel is a basic "human right". No person has a right to dictate upon another where to travel or go, not even the Vice-Consul. What's the best answer? Mr Vice-Consul, I also considered Japan for my trip, but I finally decided that I'll visit the US first, maybe for my next travel, I'll pick Japan. Alisin natin Yung "takot" kapag mag pa interview Tayo. Kulay suka karamihan sa mga first-timers. Isa pang basic mistake ay sumasagot sa tanong na hindi masyadong malinaw o hindi na intindihan, dahil nga sa nerbiyos. Finally, I let my children travel with us to foreign countries, kaya kahit adult na sila, wala na silang hassle sa mga visas na yan. PM me for more tips re tourist visa USA.

Ahhh... malaking bagay ang nakapagtravel ka na. Nung nainterview ako sa states. Tinanong ako kung anu ano na ang napuntahan ko outside of Phils. Sinabi ko ung mga napuntahan ko. Ang hindi tinanong kung may pera ako to support myself. Tinanong lang sweldo ko. I asked him back ... "Is that good?". Ngumiti lang ang Consul tjen boom! Think about leverage. Tourists from rich countries will bring more to PH than pinoys bringing in their country. For example: if you travel to Japan, pinoys are mostly shopping items on sale, staying on cheap accommodation, and eating not so expensive food. White people don’t have problems purchasing more expensive items like a 4-star or 5-star hotel. Now, if mag inarte ang pilipinas na magpa visa sa mga tourists from rich countries, goodluck if pupunta pa sila. They would rather go to places na di sila ma hassle.

Actually, minsan naman, trip-trip lang ng consul. I remember, when I applied for a US visa noon ang unang sinabi sa akin ni US consul, :I have problems with you because you come from the Philippines." Haha! But I was already living and working in Japan for 8 years na at that time. :) Noong mga panahong iyon, naka-travel na ako sa UK, Norway at may job na babalikan sa Japan. :) Pakiramdam ko, na-discriminate lang talaga ako. Haha!

If you have a Canadian visa, easier to get US visa. But ironically, Canada always deny you if you don’t have US visa. I was very lucky to get Canadian visa without appearance and when I apply for a US visa, automatically approved even if I have previously been denied a US visa first time I applied during my twenties. Kaya it’s a big help in acquiring an Australian visa. Australian visa is super strict.

Most important never lie. They can check every information you reveal. But number 1 is just be calm and normal. Don’t show you’re nervous. The consul are very good at detecting answers. They intimidate you by asking and suddenly look at your eyes when you’re answering the questions. That’s how they detect you.

I submit a cover letter why I don't have coe and itr and who is going to sponsor my finance. My ipon ako. Asa 50k tapos credit card. I have a online store Yung lang di register sa DTI. I believe dun sa nos. 2 & 1. Kung kaya mag-apply ng independent and no sponsorship, Go! The more na nagdedeklara ng detalye, the more na nahahanap ng proofs. Basta sufficient ang papers at talagang babalik, go. Tama rin po kayo, baka minsan depende rin sa mood ng assesor.😊

hmm napadaan ako dito dahil sa title ng vid... and nagkataon lang na kahapon galing ako sa german embassy for my schengen visa application interview, 3 sets of interview.. then today tumawag sila at interview ulit thru phone, same thoughts of questions but different attack.. lol.. sabi nyu nga malaking chance na madeny ung iba.. tulad ko, nagresign sa trabaho, unemployed of course, no bank statement submitted, so it means malaki chance ko na madeny, pero sinubukan ko pa din, at isa pa ay sponsored ako at totoo na ang dami nila tanong tungkol sa sponsor... pero kahit ganon sinubukan ko pa rin... so update ko tong comment na to kung appoved or denied.... 🙏🙏🙏🙏

So true.. Don't blame the travel agency po if your visa got denied. I own a travel agency, and I'm giving the best advises to my clients, and assessing their documents na din, to make sure na kumpleto. Nakakapressure din sa side namin, syempre gusto namin happy ang clients, but clients need to understand na embassy pa rin ang magdedecide whether to grant the visa or not, kahit sa tingin ng agent eh okay yung requirements ni client. There are times that I even ask for a second opinion even if I'm also well traveled. Pag nadeny, learn from the experience and move on, ganun lang :)

In my experience, I was denied for Schengen Visa particularly in Spain and UK tourist visa. Khit pala malaki laman ng pera mo s bangko, denied p rin, kc they still consider your socio economic ties s sariling Bansa. So better look for a sponsor tlga. For Japan, medyo lenient cla as long as you provide the necessary documents.

I think mas mahirap din talaga pag sa Pinas mag apply ng visa. I’m working in Japan as an ESL teacher and dalawang South-East Asian countries lang nakastamp sa passport ko, hindi din malaki ang laman ng bank ko it didn’t even reach 100k Php pero dun pumapasok yung sahod ko so I think helpful siya since I showed my bank statement for the last three months. And I was approved for a schengen visa (France) without a sponsor. Need lang complete ang documents.

Ano po need pag gusto mag apply ng visit visa sa italy tapos may kamag anak po don na mag iinvite sayo. Andito ako sa saudi sa ngaun ano pong kelangan ko na requirements

Yes, you need to have a letter of invitation and bank statement you need to get all of the documents notarized

Hi po I have applied UK Visitor Visa with my baby.I stated that we will have 2 months holiday in UK.I have every papers needed.I have my IDs,even though I am unemployed I still have my bank account coz my fiance is the one giving me money.I have my bank certificate,passport,our proof of relationship together in the past and in present and our baby I have submitted birth certificate of her and her passport and immunization card also had a cover letter.I have also submitted a strong tie which is my land title as mine.Also my sponsor give all the papers needed like his passport,identifications,his Invitation letter with signature,and his elecitricity bills,his council tax,his tenancy agreement,his payslips,and the bank statements.He had bank statements from Lloyd Bank,from Santander Bank,from The co-operative Bank.But when I receive a refusal letter from British Embassy Manila they stated that they said I haven't submitted any documents regarding my sponsor's financial circumstances.They said I have not demonstrated that my sponsor has any funds available to them to cover up the cost of our trip.What can go wrong?Do they require any kind of amount of money of my fiance to be able for us to have approval?I say like every bank statements he had in each banks he had,he had like 10000,11000,12000,13000 pounds and God knows how much more he got in his bank accounts.i mean if that's their problem they should have contacted my sponsor to clarify the financial evidence.Can I ask how you can advice me with regards to this problem?Do you have any person that is expert to this so they can help me?

Very informative! Thanks for this. But I really think the most important info for them is if you have enough money whether you're employed/still a student(unemployed). Cause I've tried applying for multiple tourist visas (US, south korean, iran, UK, and renewal of US visa) & they granted me right away. And I was still a student when I applied to those countries but I just gave them my complete requirements & my sponsors'

May I please know what are the documents needed for a college student/unemployed (no work history at all) to show proof of stong ties in order to get a tourist visa. I really want to attend a concert in California and my father will be my sponsor for this trip. Why it is so hard for students to get a tourist visa? How did you do it?
