Eagle fang Miguel is probably one of the most underrated in the show, he was training insanely hard and was the best fighter in the All Valley that year, he could have even continued after the injury vs Hawk but he decided not to, not because he couldn’t, but because he just didn’t want to, plus up until the injury he was beating Hawk who beat Robby and became the champ. Another thing to add, is that the injury was Miguel’s own doing after preforming a kick that would have destroyed Hawk (and Robby) if connected.
