I love the water mechanic in MH3U as well. It works very well with the Monster Hunter Universe because it gives us even more variety for monsters and MH3U shows that. I really want them to bring it back, but I don't think they will since they didn't bring it back in MH World.

Man, I love the water mechanic. I never got to fighting Plesioth, Abyssal Lagiacrus or Dire Miralis with it, but it was still fun to fight the normal Lagiacrus, Gobul and Royal Ludroth underwater. Shame that Worlds isn't bringing it back.

Another thing about Monster Hunter is that every Game, every Village has its own feeling and besides all the absurd stuff like talking cats and hilariously dull puns it pulls you in from the first moment of accepting your hunter duties.

Never thought I'd see water combat at number 1 on ANYONE'S list. But I am very glad to see it there. I LOVED the water combat, I did have some weird experiences with the camera, but that's fine. It was well worth it.

While, yes, the water IS weird and clunky and those things, I think that I and most like the water partially because of that reason, and it can increase your skill too.

Nicolas Coates yes. I LOVE to improve my skills. I only played mh4u yet so i never fought in water. but i hope they will bring it back. the mh world keeps getting bigger so more underwater fights i hope :D

I agree with Dak on how all the monster designs are awesome and unique in their own way( yes, even Khezu) but I really thought that MH maps, MH soundtrack, and MH weapons would be in this list. BUT still loved the video and your opinion on what you like in MH.

I mainly like the monsters because of how you can try to picture a common ancestor and also how natural they look. And with MH World, we will be able to see just how diverse the food-chain is like with Jaggi-jho (my nickname for Anjanath)

Ayy love the mh tri music you put in the back :]. One of my favorite things about the game that wasnt mentioned in this is the diversity between weapons. No weapon plays like the other, some may have similar moves, but are executed completely differently (Lance and Gunlance for example). It really allows you as a player to find your playstyle and really experiment with the mechanics of the game. Also, I loved underwater as well! Hell some of my favorite fights in Tri were underwater.

Ever notice that leviathans although being introduced in tri actually have the same skeleton as Fatalis. Also Zamites have the same body structure as jhen mohran and even strongly ressemble Daren Mohran. It would seem that many monster species were already around before we even knew. I won't be surprised if Nerscylla is actually an enlarged Hornetaur skeleton.

yo dak i used to hate underwater as an sns main and it took away the combo but now i love it after using hammer witch acts the same . underwater is what makes lagiacrus such an awesome monster that just isn.t present in gen

As I was playing The Witcher 2,it came to my mind,what if there were trophies in monster hunter. For e.g you beat Zinogre,you luckily got his horn or claw,or fang,which gives you,idk,maybe a number from 1-10 or more skill points,as in armors and decorations and talismans,or maybe some stuff like 10% affinity,like that one oil in mh gen. There would be 1 or 2 slots for a trophy,they're rare but useful,as if you get one from G.Jaggi,could help with skill points at the begining and stuff. It kinda sounds like talismans but I always thought about adding some features to mh,even some slightly fixes ;;

All I ask is for people to see past the camera and "unwieldy" controls and look at the bigger picture. The monster variety takes you from land to sea which opens a new dynamic of hunting. Taking the fight to their territory and being met with the best the monster has to offer instead of limiting it to land.

I'm sad that water hasn't returned yet. So many monsters have suffered as a result. Plesioth is harder to fight and those break parts are just out of reach (my purpose has been taken from from me ;-;) ,monsters like Gobul, Ceadeus, and Abyssal Lagicrus are no longer capable of fighting, Lagicrus had his moveset revamped which is bad for Ivory Lagicrus who was supposed to be the land fighter and now all 3 lose their swimming tactics. . . But not just the current monsters are getting ruined, but potential monster designs won't be created. Not every animal in the world walks on land. There are so many creatures of the deep (ceadeus included) who will never see the light of day because people refused to go in the water. What are we going to do with every aquatic animal, give it the plesioth treatment and tape legs to everything? That doesn't sound too great, I mean Zamtrios works but that won't always be the case. Could anyone here picture a jellyfish monster with bird legs? I can't. . Capcom probably isn't going to bring water back until they start running out of ideas and realize the potential of aquatic monsters.

JESUS CHRIST BE MORE SPECIFIC. The gung ho fool means that in MHX, the Tigrex in the low rank version of Tigrex by the Tail can be attacked by an intruding Great Maccao. All this typing for naught, this happens in every quest with over one large monster.
