A lot of the jewellery the Princess of Wales wears belong to the royal collection. The late Queen Elizabeth used to loan pieces of jewellery to Camilla and Catherine. The will literally read that the estate was to be held in trust until her sons were 30….another change, And btw Both Prince Harry and His wife has rather large personal incomes outside of the trust. 'When Diana was passed away...'? All credibility for this clip was lost there. Diana received jewels during her time as the Princess of Wales, the gifts given not as personal items, but as gifts to her for representing the Crown. These jewels are now Crown property, with the exception of her engagement ring (now worn by Catherine, Princess of Wales, and the Spencer family tiara). Diana’s jewels were rightly given to her sons. The tiaras are not given to Catherine or any other person married to a royal. They are owned by the crown. Kept in the royal vault and borrowed when needed. The royal women were allowed to keep items given to them by royalty.
