i’m so glad that spiritbox is in here and ranked as high as it was. rotoscope seemed to be so controversial with people, especially those that claim they “sold out” even though all they’re doing is making the music they feel they wanna make in that moment as stated by courtney and mike. as far as EPs/singles go, they take the cake for me this past year. very different, diverse, experimental, guitar tuned so fucking low and one of the heaviest breakdowns they’ve put out thus far. it’s so good. this year was full of bangers all around, but last year was something else I gotta say. I know it probably had to do with covid and whatnot, but it was still a decent year for metal. anyways happy new year! can’t wait to see what new music comes our way and am looking forward to your content!

Overpass is so damn good. Death by Landmvrks is still my #1 of the year because its the best collab/feature of the damn century, but Overpass is easy #2, mainly for the same reasons as you. The Chosen is my Deathcore AOTY, and Top 3 all genres. I will miss Dan in EE but I'm keeping an eye on Mire Lore for sure, the last Ep is super good stuff.

Well you did a great job putting together a big ass list man. There were songs from bands Ive heard before and not paid much attention to but u picked just a snippet of a song that here and there that I was like OK ill check that out. I dig alot of the deathcore stuff so I already knew most of those but being from the earlier days of metallic hardcore alot of modern metalcore doesnt stand out as much to me but I still found a few things that I was ok this sounds great. And then a couple of random things as well. Good job man. And thanks for the reccomendations.

I shocked how based on what you say you like you left Nita Strauss The Wolf You Feed off the list. For me I think my top ten would most assuredly held this song as well as a couple from Jinjer, Rolo T, Spirit Box and Anchor. Pros: respectable collection , no bias , no Crappy content, trying to please everyone , female fronting new bands are greatly presented and most welcome, , and it looks that i am going to be inclined more towards them if I have a future in 2023 Cons , no punky stuff of Finn Mckenty, Cons : 1- Dan Watson was great with Enterprise Earth , I am very happy that you picked him as the song of this year , though my favourite of the Album is still when dreams are broken, which I know was your favourite song last year , which makes you a bit more stained with enterprise Earth trait, this can be weak point , if you gave them number 2 would have been healthier for your internet views , but the result for me is fabulous because I love Dan / Enterprise Earth have they made the greatest Album of all time , but tell him better off he needs. to get up from bed and do something stunning or else we will all leave the show . #2 Songs this year , you said Rock as well but u\you did not include many I wish you included , the Watcher -Arch enemy , No escape from now Ozzy Osbourne and Tony iommi i.e 60% Black Sabbath Lux Eterna - Metallica , Shine on, The Dead Daisies great new Album they did this year, Time -The Devil wears Prada , a past embrace - 156 silence , although I do not like satanism but the Ghost : call me little sunshine. was great , but over all I like metal Birb you are fair , but my favourite of all time is Erra and Hybrid Earth is the best ever metal track that has been ever been written and conducted , despite you and Finn and all the. other Reactors .
