Since so many of you asked - "Where is Qantas?": Qantas landed before sunrise and in the other runway direction so i wasn't able to record the landing back in 2015! For me, Thai carriers land the planes the smoothest. One time we landed in a storm it was still considerably soft! (Thai AirAsia) also the 380 landing on Thai airways was also really smooth.

Korean and Asiana both tied for 1st. They both flared at exactly the right time, providing for a softer touchdown. Singapore had a good flare also, but he bounced the nose wheel really hard and is lucky he didn't start porpoising. The others had little to no flare and basically just flew a stable approach onto the runway, some with rather firm touchdowns.

All beautiful landings, but it really depends on the pilot and his training and experience. Generally Qantas wins but didn't fly in this video. Winner in this video was Lufthansa. PlaneSpottingBerlin Aviation Videos... your landing vids are well done! Some videographers are really wiggly.

Air France and Singapore Airline bounced on touch down which indicates a slight lack of control this time. Every pilot has at least one bad landing and that can be due to any number of factors. Good comparisons but I am sure if you had another set, the results may well be different.
