The Destroyer combat rifle can come in a 3 round burst version with a minimum mag size of 12 rounds. 3rb rifles are almost always going to match or outperform the single shot combat rifles in Borderlands 1. The Nidhogg's rocket split effect (along with most other unique rocket launchers in the game) is based on time from firing, so using Lilith's High Velocity skill will mess with the distance from launch that the effect will take place.

this is true but a fully damage specced pounder "the destroyer" can actually outperform a 3 round burst version due to the incredibly heightened damage; at level 61: pounder does: 481 at optimal parts vs. 367 from a 3 round burst model difference: 114 damage which is about a full weapon class difference especially when you start factoring in critical hits (no data available for critical hit damage)

@@thevashfan12392 you can fire 3 rounds faster than a single shot and so the DPS is higher overall. Single shot are fun because they make you feel like a sniper as Rolando.

@@NinjaSushi2 a destroyer barrel fires all round available regardless. it's also not possible outside of modding one in. but the aforementioned was doing calculations on if you could have a pounder version of a destroyer legendary combat rifle. the results are incredibly staggering but the mag expansion is so vital to the build that it can be dismissed.

The nidhogg's effect only activates after a certain distance, the easiest way to get it to do this was to fire it into the air and have the rockets rain down.

4:23 Pounders of any sort are at their best with the "Intense" prefix (crit bonus), especially if you're playing as Mordy with a 5-line purple model 660 Ranger COM built from material2 (which buffs crit bonus) or if you have a Ranger Mordy on your team. borderlands 1 is the more hardcore game of the 3 but the second still makes me laugh at times especially when playing Salvador the gunzerker. That being said the gore factor from the first game is still awesome no matter how often you play it.

maybe some people may like to know, if they didnt already : the previous CEO of hyperion, tassiter, kept the classical "Red and black" color on the hyperion's guns. When Jack rose to power of hyperion, he wes already trying ou the new "yellow and white" color that we know of borderlands 2. it's jack fault if guns switched from red/black to yellow"white :)

+I tried to heal him but he was already dead for his defense jack was underappreciated by tassiter. He only saw Jack as a tool to progress the company, and would only see his usefulness throughout work. What Jack did was wrong, but he had that rage built up that enventually exploded

It appears that the Destroyer rifle you show off in this video spawned with a Pounder magazine, hence the small magazine and single shot fire rate. The Destroyer combat rifle can (and in my case, did) also spawn as a Cobra or Rifle. Mine fires three shot bursts and comes with a 12 round magazine before bonuses from playing as Roland with a Rifleman or Heavy Gunner COM come into play, which makes me think mine is a Destroyer-barreled Cobra. It becomes pretty hazardous as it can suddenly dump the boosted magazine (between 24 and 33 rounds depending on if I'm using heavy gunner or rifleman) when scoped.

I personally think that the Destroyer is better on Roland, with a Heavy Gunner COM and 5/5 on Overload, you can get a mag size of around 30, also the Destroyer can be a burst-fire combat rifle too..

Destroyer is 3xburts rifle with maximal fire rate of 18 and 15 in mag. You have stomper magazine there it makes combat rifle single shot with higher damage and 6 in mag, sadly to say Destryer with stomper is actualy the Best stopmer of them all.

This is why I personally prefer bl1 to all following titles, the simplicity of the weapons still felt really good to use, but most didn’t have an insane gimmick or crazy pattern that made them basically unusable or demanded you build around them. Currently there’s probably 30 guns in bl3 ide say we’re even kind of on par with even purple weapons from bl1 and that’s just my opinion, but you shouldn’t need to be hitting damage cap with every gun to be able to play the game, artificial difficulty instead of clever gameplay and desing

Idk why but I love and hate the way borderlands 1 landscape looks like. It's like a massive waste land of a city. While in borderlands 2 there is places like opportunity, the fridge, southern shelf, and in the dlcs there is forests and caves unlike borderlands 1s look, which is more like a fallout map.

That was one of my most-missed changes from BL1 to 2. Lilith was a total beast with the Anarchy class of SMGs. Her ability to become invulnerable and move right up to enemy's faces to SMG-shottie them in the face with an Anarchy was awesome. So, the Anarchy wouldn't have been quite as awesome in BL2, but I wish it had made a reappearance. The Bone Shredder was a decent substitute though, especially after that Loot Contest update that increased its multiplier to x3.

Hyperion gun in borderlands 1 were great but in borderlands 2 they were better but was controlled by a villain who want to destroy/rule the universe with having gear like the lady fist, interfacer, the bitch and the bee ESPECIALLY the bee. Man in borderlands 3 i really hope Hyperion is back mostly because of the bee shield to make sucky/bad weapon into descent or good weapons.

on Playthrough 2 (Unlocked after completing the game for the first time) the names are changed. During playthrough 2, a badass enemy will be called a Badmutha ememy. When you complete playthrough 2, they are called SuperBad enemies.
