I’m doing a Brick play through now I love how cause of the graphics style that I find playing any of them feels like I’m playing one gigantic massive game...but the first Borderlands is soooo classic they did an amazing job at portraying Pandora as a shithole with garbage piles everywhere scrap metal & fires it’s a real desolate place where you see the leftovers from the corporations like Dahl. Even in BL2 you begin the game in a snow area & a lot of the maps when ya think bout it vary a lot...certainly not a complaint but I like BL1’s uniqueness

The violence revolver actually has a special effect as your health gets lower it does more damage. Also you can get a guaranteed one of the six gearbox legendaries from the middle chest that spawn after you kill the destroyer also in order for them to respawn use the fast travel point near the entrance of the vault area to a dlc are like the underdome then save and quit then load back in and fast travel back to the vault and all of the chests at the destroyers place will have respawned also the gearbox legendaries also usually scale to your level.

They need a chest that upgrades your favorite weapon to your current level. Make it rare or hard to use, perhaps once per play through. A low level legendary is useless and disappointing during a run.

Yeah, that's always been the biggest negative I've had with Borderlands. You get this cool gun with a awesome look and effect, but it's useless 5 levels later. Even if it was super expensive I'd like an option to upgrade. Like take it to Crazy Earl or some other shop and give them a shit-ton of Eridium and they'll level the gun up to your level.

I've farmed all 6 from the destroyer chest in the vault (middle chest). After you loot these chests, travel to tartarus station and save/quit. This will reset the chests. Rinse and repeat. Great video.

Also the at destroyer area the red chest. Dirrectly in front of you when you spawn has a garrented gearbox legendary weapon and it always refreshs after save quit

I've gotten all of them so far and on Brick... they all perform VERY well because of the explosive attribute and melee attributes. Mug Shot and Baha's Bigger Blaster work extremely well with Brick. I can see how playing Mordecai, Roland or Lilith will see lackluster results but they all seem more geared towards the cackling meathead.

Well, @@thegrayghost1786 The Clipper's accessory, the blade? It gives the gun fire damage, but, in the original, the blade was all but cosmetic, as it didn't function properly. So, free incendiary pistol was good, but, if something got up close and personal, you just had to spray more bullets at it and hope for the best.

I got the sucker punch the day the remaster released from the last chest after defeating the destroyer on PT2. I found it pretty good to use on enemies that get close and don't use firearms like psycho's and zombies from jakob's cove. The 500% melee damage is nice in those close quarters situations and is a good apology that makes up for the reaper.

Still, the reaper is much more rare so the sucker punch is a good alternative and still the best melee in the game because of the 500% so depends what you're looking for. The big draw for the reaper is the melee bonus but sucker punch has superior melee stats so it's still the best option in that scenario.

The Vault (at the end of the Eridian Promontory), now has 7 Red Chests (which are farmable and have unusual loot pools; one of them spawns 2 artifacts for example), and the center chest always spawns an Eridian weapon (original set only, not DLC3 varieties, as far as I can tell) and a Gearbox Legendary (which will be your current level, notably it will be level 69 if you are). So this is yet another method to obtain them.

They can be obtained from 1 of the loot boxes in the Vault after the final boss too, they can be farmed as long as you log in from a location in a DLC and not the main game.

My two freebies with my new Lilith was the TK Shottie and the Hive Mind. I wasn't sure if they re-worked Rocket Launchers in the game since it actually seemed really good. I guess it's just that it's an exceptional RL. I really want that Sucker Punch though. I like high FR repeaters and that stupidly high melee damage modifier is super appealing.

I’ve found out. If you do the vault boss in the vanilla game. You have a few chests to open. Then if you jump to one of the dlc content. You can save game and reload. And jump back to the vault to reopen the chests. Up to now it seem to drop one of the six new legendary weapon every time. Although I’ve not tested it out rigorously.

1 find violence to be in the top three along with the sniper and sucker punch because the multiplier is x3 meaning it always pocks doing massive damige (1000-2000 damage) with one that is level 35 on mordicy

I really enjoyed this review 😎! The Violence is underrated favorite of mine then I’ll explain my reasons. I’ve been playing as Brick going more towards the Bombadier/Blast Master setup. One of the perks Endowed increasing Explosive damage I believe! The Violence with him is so very satisfying pretty much any shot to the body ends up in an explosive bloody mess with the stopping power of a single shot! I LOVE the Violence with it being underrated it could be improved upon by having a 6 Round Mag/3 Standard Mag. Having a scope could bring it up to being one of the best with at least 95-97 accuracy very slight boost. Give the Violence a shot it’s really satisfying seeing enemies explode into a huge bloody mess ~

As someone who is a big fan of the sniper play style, I actually prefer medium range scopes. They are much more versatile as you can use them as enemies approach you and allows for better awareness of enemies that are more spread out. My aim is practiced enough that I can still hit the far off enemies with the weaker zoom. Ofc, you can get the best of both worlds by simply carrying 2 sniper rifles optimized for different ranges and switch between them (just keep in mind that sniper rifles often have lengthy swap times!) Anyways... just my two cents and nice list as always.

There is a glitch. After you finish the game, travel to the Underdome or any other place (for Underdome I am pretty sure) and travel back to the Vault. All the chests will spawn again. I think the middle chest always contains one of these new legendaries.

Method 4= Defeat the Destroyer at the Vault. Open the middle chest. Take whatever you want. Quit to main menu. Reload your save. Repeat as needed. I have all of the Gearbox weapons from this. Also, I did this offline. I don't know if it is patched.

If you kill the destroyer in Playthrough 2, open the boxes, you will get at least one of these guns > grab the key but DO NOT turn in > teleport to any DLC area, save the game, load the game back up, go back to the vault and you will see the boxes still there. You can just farm them like so. Enjoy :)

Reaper is bugged and doesn't provide 300% melee bonus anyway. It provides 100% melee, healing on melee and 25%+ fire rate. Ps. There is some way to farm the Destroyer's chest for the legendaries. If I remember, they dissapear once you save&quit, but exiting area trought fast travel and coming back resets them.

The reaper was fixed so it now does the 300% melee and is way more common than before. It’s in my opinion a better alternative anyways, 500% melee is excessive and the healing from the reaper is pretty good

A few things. The hive mind doesnt get ammo regen from bricks bombardier com Killing skagzilla has a really high chance of getting a gearbox legendary Your guaranteed one from the center chest after killing the destroyer. And there's a way to get that chest to respawn so it's much better to farm them there (Go to tartarus station or the underdome and save quit. Then load up your game and fast travel to the vault. All of the chests should have respawned)

I miss BL1 damage scaling where everything didnt 2 shot 90% hp, while being super spastic and fast, uvhm really kills the fun factor
