I'll like to ask Ma, jobs like Dishwasher, Fruit picker, construction and so on, can someone go to those places especially restaurants to ask for available openings or u must apply through these sites for those kind of jobs, ie. Dishwasher, Fruit picker construction and others? Also do I need to have Permanent residency status to be able to work in some of these jobs I stated above, I'm talking about Menial jobs for a start Ma? From Simon

Yes you can go to them physically. No even just with your residency card, you can work anywhere.

Hi PK, how about those in health care? Do we stand a chance getting job with this website? Also, do they hire people abroad? As I’m not in Portugal yet. And are English speakers hired? Thank you.

Hello there dear, yes they do hire but you need Portuguese as a language especially if it's basic. There are certain health jobs that don't require you to speak Portuguese but they are for High skilled health professionals. In most cases not really, they prefer if you are here unless you are part of the Portuguese community of countries (CPLP), then you get work visa offer much easier.
