Pulled the crown Palkia the other day and it's quickly become my favorite deck. I replace the Manaphy with Starmie and I only run a single Palkia, but it feels so consistent and good.

Exxegg/Yanmega makes quick work with any Darkrai deck. Throw a cloak on your Yanmega and you got a Gyarados/Palkia counter.

i play 1 misty in geninja darkrai, the sudden option to be able to attack with gren is pretty good

I'm shocked that not more people are playing Hitmonlee variant Rampardos. The one thing that Rampardos needs to really get going is forced pulling from the bench. If you start with Hitmonlee, you've pretty much set the pace for the rest of the match. All you need at that point is a Sabrina or, even better, Cyrus and your opponent is most likely going to be saying goodbye to all their energy they've been saving up.. The lack of EX's also gives you more time to counteract whatever shenanigans your opponent might be pulling off.

With rampardos I believe consistency is its biggest issue apart from that its a powerful card

On the Char deck, I really feel like it needs 1 more basic (like a magmar) to either cycle with the poke communication, or just have some damage if your pulls for char brick. Experienced it a couple times today while playing with it.

That's also a problem because you've wasted 8 slots for charzard line and moltres. There's no basic that fits the bill for both those situations except maybe heatmor.

Cyrus is damn well useless in the palkia deck. I run the full vaporeon, manaphy, and palk but I also run starmie. You might think it’s bricky but nope. You have an answer for almost every scenario. Manaphy opening into ramp, early starmie aggro with potential to move around energy cuz 0 retreat cost and then palkia finishes the match

My crown & immersive Charizards carried me for the 45 win event & I think the cape + 2 potions are completely unnecessary. Add a 2nd Leaf, a Sabrina, & a Cyrus. I tend to open without my Moltres for some reason & that 2nd Leaf bails me out often. Moltres has also won me games because of Cyrus & Sabrina. Way more useful than +20hp.

On charizard I like to use dawn as well to pivot the energy on moltres and surprise the opponent with 70 dmg on turn 2. Dawn also let you compensate for bad flips with moltres.

What's the best way to run Infernape, please? I just got a second one. Also the Kangestan inclusion has been around since the start of the expansion. Someone took a Kanga and just one Drudd to a Tournament, and won with it. I think it's for the mirror match.

Tried it with both moltres and Blane but I bet theirs some other way to run it more consistently. Regardless its a faster charizard but less damage. I even ran it with farfetched and it worked quite well

Either with Moltres, dodrio or giratina, all variants use 2x Dawn

@ I'm going to try with Magcargo. I played this cargo deck with Hypno, and also Magmar and a single Blaine. I have gotten a few Rage quits from the sleep now. It's made me want to build my Dialga/Wigglytuff deck again, as sleep is quite strong. I just need to work out the right build for that. I originally put in one Wiggly tuff, as I was missing a second Lickilicky. When I got the 2nd Licki, I just took out Wiggly. I think a Wiggly deck could be strong, if it has 100% sleep chance, and Damage. Maybe I just take 2 wiggly lines, 2 x Dialga and a Skarmory, or something. maybe Skamory and a Mew ex.

Darkrai/Greninja is still my favorite Meta deck I tried Darkrai/Magnezone and idk why it is the only deck we're I brick more than I should of I'm good on that An with Darkrai Greninja you can beat Darkrai Magnezone deck with out any issues if you know how to play the deck

I would like them to expand the max cards you can have in a deck to 30 They can keep the min at 20 if you like the consistency aspect but with more sets being added all the time more slots add more possibilities

How's nobody playing Garchomp and Cynthia that deck si so good with Druddigeon to tank at the start with a rocky helmet to do 40 damage

It probably relies way too much on being lucky. You have to get the right dual energy rolls (already a death sentence) in addition to needing to get a 2 stage mon up and running. When it’s live it’s great, but why would people choose this strat over one that’s 10x or 100x more consistent?

I've been running garchomp for the entire pvp event. I feel like i win close to 50% of the time. I use giant cape instead of rocky helmet because it kind of doubles as a potion and health increase at the same time and that has saved me from allowing an extra darkrai ability a bunch of times. I've beat all kinds of meta decks with it. However if you brick on your energy you probably just lose

@MrDanno honestly by the time I get Garchomp i almost always have the two different energies secure The game generally always alternate the two energies at the begenning of the matches before staying on the same

@ChefBoyArti any deck can brick. I've probably played 50-60 pvp games with my garchpmp deck and I've had pretty good luck. Garchomp line, drud, pokeball, research, pokemon communication, xspeed, Cynthia, giant cape I feel like a crucial part is not playing your pokemon too fast to take advance of communication, and using garchomps ability as much as possible

I got Darkrai/Magnezone quickly as a free player via luck. It's almost too good. Less fun because it just steamrolls everything no challenge

It isn't good vs eggs/celebi tho. So no it doesn't steamroll everything. I haven't lost to 1 darkrai/magnezone match up yet out of 12 I played so far with this deck. Also check tournament reports, eggs/celbi wins a high % vs darkrai magnezone.
