Such great tips. I wish I had seen this couple weeks ago when I ordered my paint, I did exactly what you said not to do and ordered a 45 colour palette and now wish I didn't as I hardly use the colours and mix my own more. Tbh I always just mix crimson red and ultramarine blue and some cad yellow 😂. The purple is so beautiful that I use it everytime and the yellow for contrast.

Omg this is so helpful. Yesterday I was trying to paint snow falling and some Lamps at night and for 30 minutes I just did the sky and then started at the page. Because I didn't know what to do next
