There is NO doubt you love those Yak Attack rod holders. You have mentioned them multiple times. A net is certainly a must-have IMO and that folding one is sweet. Lost several good fish at the boat trying to lip them, before I finally bought one. I’ll have to get one like that, when I pickup my kayak. Thanks! 👍

Glad you added the warning about raising your seat changing the center of gravity, especially on moving water. Love my Chinook. Had it forever. Going to hit up your 3D guy and see if he can do a trolling motor accessory for me. Thanks for the tip on that.

Cool video. I have a Rogue phone holder. I use my Yakattack double header paddle holder for my net( my paddle lays in my lap). Need a Yakattack Omega holder and better rails. The quick disconnects are nice, have one on my Garmin. My crate downsized and lighter. My have a heavy rectangle crate found in the garage. A safety flag should be on the list if fishing bigger lakes. Flags mandatory on tournaments.

Damn, I keep forgetting to order my 3D seat risers! Thanks for the reminder. As for the net, if I was in a tournament I would definitely buy a good one.

Never thought that I would ever hear you say that! Ps. I forgot my net on tournament day and had to lip my PB.. you would be proud

@@wendellfishing Yeah, I couldn't be the only one not using a net giving me a disadvantage at a tourney. After saying that, it's even more awesome that you won without one! You could have said you purposely left it at home to give Chad and the other teams a fighting chance LOL!

I didn't realize your in Ohio... What area? I was born/raised just north of Cincinnati. Lived there my whole life until we moved down to southern SC 2 years ago. Bass fishing has been excellent for me down here! I hadn't caught a largmouth over 4.8lbs my whole life. In 2 years I've caught more 4 & 5 pounders than I can count. Multiple 6's & bigger girls this past summer. My PB from last year was 7.8 this year I broke it 4 times with my newest being 11.4. Also very good striper & crappie fishing! I've been kayak fishing 9yrs now. It's weird I thought I would see more kayak anglers down here. But that's not the case. I saw 5 times more kayak anglers in Cincinnati Ohio area, I would see a lot of Hobies. I've only ran into 1 guy with a Hobie in last 2 years. Don't see a lot of kayaks like I did up north, & when I do thier usually not pedal drives. Tons of water to explore down here, constantly going new places

Hey boss! I am from Hartville, OH... which is just north of Canton! So.. about 4 hours from Cincy! Great fish brother!.. those are some nice catches
@maxcole393010 ай бұрын
Ok got ya, your up there closer to Erie. Lake Erie definitely best fishing OH has to offer in my opinion. Caught a lot good smalmouth, walleye up there. What's your favorite lakes in northern OH? I have ton of options down here! From my house 20 minutes up to an hour n half I have Santee Cooper lakes(Moultrie & Marion), Lake Murray, Monticello, Clarks Hill, Lake Russell, Greenwood, Hartwell, dozens of smaller lakes, & for rivers Savannah, Congaree, Broad, Saluda. All most within an hour or less. Alot to explore & I can hit saltwater at Beaufort marsh's in 2.5 hours.

I love the Scotty rod holoder. Plus they come with an extra 4" track, which I don't need. Keel guard is essential, kydex is much better than gator guard. Floating net, check. Wish I could get seat risers for my Moken V2. Have an open crate, most everything floats. I have a wheel in the keel, used on concrete/ asphalt. Raku is a good call. Thanks D- Man.

Lot of gators in southern lakes like Santee Cooper. Definitely not a big fan of kayaking around them, when you see one 10-12 foot it can be little sketchy. I just keep my distance. I'm starting to get used to them, I just never lety guard down if I know their around

$20 is a lot cheaper than 1k plus in a cell phone 📱🙂. Do you think that your kayak cracked 1 because what you mentioned, and 2 because we get them cold cold 🥶 🌡️ weather days? I feel like the 3D things don't hold up as good for me because up here we get that arctic 🐻❄️🥶 weather, and my garage isn't insulated so it like a refrigerator when it gets super cold. I feel no one talks about how the plastic gets brittle up in the north states because of the cold. so I say take that into consideration on how you store them kayaks. And you forgot 1 thing brother, them eyes 👀 😎 savers are a must have on the water, that is like a mirror we're on for hours a day 😂. Good video brother 💯

Here's a question for anyone? Why is it that there are Only 2 price ranges for PFD's? $50 and Over $150? Are there NOT any decent PFD's for around $100? TIA

That's a very good and interesting question. I have the NRS Chinook and I must say, it's definitely worth $150.
