Wolverine #131 had 2 printings. You can tell the printing by the #s above the last upc barcode. "13111" is the first printing with the error and "13112 is the second printing corrected version. I don't know how many times I've been on eBay and sellers are listing the 13112 as the error copy and ppl are buy them! Second, #145 has an error version where the foil wasn't added called the bone claw error. #145 also has 3 variants. The first as you mentioned is the gold foil, second one is a Nabisco Mail-away cover and the third is a holofoil cover-limited to 3,000 copys. Third, #155 is also a Rob Liefeld cover and pays homage to the Incredible Hulk #340

I remember I had this as a kid. All my comics from 87 to 92 were all newsstand or direct editions because I was buying all my comics at cover price at a newsstand. I would go right before school to be able to have first pick. I lost them all but I started my collection again and I have this but 2nd edition. I also have Wolverine #100 hologram Direct Edition

Enjoyed this video on Wolverine, he was the reason I had purchased Hulk 181 back in the 1970s. I never got a chance to collect his self-title books because I had stopped collecting comics at the time. This video has inspire me now to seek out this iconic character while prices are still very reasonable! Thanks Jim!

There is a silver foil, gold foil and a bone claws variant were the book has no foiling or very little foiling on it. The last one is actually a printing error

I have a question I've looked into and don't understand power pack 27 clearly has wolverine and sabretooth on cover but uncanny 215 and wolverine 10 get credited as 1st wolverine sabretooth meeting power pack came out in 85 or 84 uncanny cane out 87 and wolverine 10 came out 87 I'm gonna get wolverine 1 for 12$ if my gf lets me love ur 50cent vids great stuff I'm looking for nebisco mail in 25 anniversary variant I thought of ur vid trying to figure out y power pack 27 gets no love thanks

Ok...wolverine #10 was the 1st Sabretooth vs wolverine...as in...telling the story of the first time they fought and why. Later on, we find out this wasnt the first time they fought...origins became like the holy grail of origin stories for wolverine. But at the time wolverine 10 was released, it was considered their 1st fight against each other....now of course uncanny had the epic sabretooth vs wolverine battles in the classic issues 212-213 and also #222. The power pack issue came before those uncanny issues...so its a sleeper pick
