@@dredfxcustompaint with the Ultra24 for beginners i agree. But the Evo24 was not so my thing. But all infos for the Infinity24 are such pretty good - can‘t wait and i know it will be worth it. A no brainer! 👍🏻

As a mini painter I always had issue with the small rocking action. The fact this airbrush has been made to be able to run this action is incredible. I can’t wait till it arrives. I feel a new mini may have to be purchased.

I recently upgraded to a Giraldez Infinity after having a terrible time with the original Infinity, and have been having an absolute blast with it so far. The trigger feels way better to me on the Giraldez than the original Infinity. Other than the titanium nozzle, what's the difference between the Giraldez Infinity and the Infinity 2024? Is there anything that one can do that the other can't? Furthermore, would the new nozzles be compatible with the Giraldez?

I would assume the nozzles would work with other models but you would have to wait a while for that to come through. There is likely to be better internal flow of air, the geometry around the trigger and how it interacts with the body to be slightly different. I would probably say that the giraldez is a short original infinity with a prototype trigger mechanism. Once it's released it will be interesting to explore the engineering of the airbrush from the internals to the manufacturing processes for the new nozzles. Could this become the new industry standard?

Glad to hear that you're enjoying the Giraldez! Probably the best way to describe the Giraldez Infinity is that it was a way for us to put out some of the concepts of the 2024 airbrushes and see if people responded to them. It was a real success, and so we then went into the 2024 design project with confidence that the direction was good. However, it's important to understand the way that we approach design. Wherever possible we really try to design from first principles, rather than iteratively. And so even though the Giraldez was a step on the 2024 path, the 2024 airbrushes are a ground up redesign... So, for example, the diameters of the trigger carriages are much larger on the 2024 models in order to create even more accuracy and stability than the Giraldez, just as one point. There are just a huge number of differences between them and consequently I'd say that the INFINITY 2024 is a very large leap forward over the Giraldez, in all respects. Of course we already start to work with Angel on the v2, which will be very close to the INFINITY 2024 specification, with some particular changes which Angel likes... I hope that explains it well... The nozzles on their own will not be compatible, as you need to run them with their INFINITY aircaps, but naturally, you will be able to put an INFINITY 2024 head with the Titanium nozzle onto the Giraldez v1. But there's a lot more to the 2024 spec than just the nozzle system ;-) W

I'm definitely gonna get one of these. I have one detail gun that gets the sharpest and finest lines i've ever seen and it's 40 years old. Very curious to see what new CR can do in comparison. H&S seems to be becoming the Ferrari of Airbrushes and they are built like a tank.

Andrew - bear in mind also that the set-up range of the trigger feel on the INFINITY 2024 is really huge. We believe that the best set-up for this action is really soft i.e. you back off the airvalve tension a lot and also on the needle spring tension. The brushes come with this set-up as the default, and then you're able to adjust it around that if you like. W

Hey buddy - the trigger for the EVOLUTION 2024 actually works really nicely in the Giraldez if you're not a fan of Angel's trigger... run a Google search for "Harder & Steenbeck 712320" and it should pop up somewhere local to you... W

If I were there Id be saying "Well, I like the new trigger pad, the paint uptake, the smaller cup, the ease and speed of strip down and reassembly. I have to use well thinned paint at low pressures as it goes Pete Tong for me quickly if I dont. And, I managed to paint and weather a railway van including: painting each bolt head with rust and rust streaking, applying pre and false shading, trompe l'œil and a final weathering coat that mimicks paint, branding fade and cement dust, making my model look like the real thing, after offloading cement in 1969, a relic from the 1960s/1970s". And Id feel totally inadequate. But everyday is a school day for me. These guys are so talented and yet so normal, still learning too, Im in awe. Although Im very excited about the Infinity CRP 2024, and/or an AL version, Im now not sure as a mere railway modeller (and occasional ship, aeroplane and car modeller), I would notice the difference. Whilst my artistry is 3D, Im not an artist per se. The original Infinity CRP/AL and Evolution CRP models et al are still awesome airbrushes and mine are used for specific tasks. Would my painting warrant another airbrush, would such take my painting to another level? This is my first doubtful comment about my favourite airbrush brand H&S - sorry fellas, Im now undecided. Perhaps when I see a modeller painting with a new Infinity Ill feel different 🤔🤞🙏💜💜

Such a good question, and well expressed. From years and years of experience, the answer is simple. Better… is better! It just is. David’s comment later on in the video says it all - “I’ll take it because it will make my life easy.” Detail comes easier, atomisation is more total, cleaning is faster and now, for the first time ever in airbrush history I think, you have the flagship airbrush which is absolutely the MOST robust in the range with regard to the most critical part. You won’t be disappointed buddy, not a flicker. W

@@harderairbrush Hi W, thanks (on all fronts - wise words), good points well made, making life easier is a must for me these days, doing easy with an airbrush encourages more usage too. I find myself brush painting less, also the use of the newer paint pens helps, as does a quality airbrush. Things move on and improve, always impressed with H&S' listening skills and continuous improvement. 👍✌️💜😊😎

I just pre-ordered the infinity 2024 a couple of days ago. I've never had a really high end brush. I started with cheepo chinese brushes, and then moved to badgers. I can't wait to spray a model car body with this and see what it's like. Has anyone heard when these are going to ship?

With this airbrush the killing zone get smaller and the time you use to get into the sniper mode is much faster.

Can the current model Infinity be upgraded with 2024 parts?

Hey buddy... all of the 2024 models are TOTAL redesigns. The Infinity has the same airvalve plunger and airvalve spring retaining nut, and everything else is totally new. There will be SOME compatibility, but you won't be able to take 2024 parts and create a 2024 performance using an older model as the starting point. The body is significantly different internally on the 2024 models, and this really forms the chassis of an airbrush in terms of how the needle carriage and trigger action is defined, as well as how the air is presented to the head. If you want max performance, you really need the 2024 models. W

Evolution in suction coming soon... Grafo... yes, we are doing something with the Grafo... I'm VERY fond of that brand, very much so, and we have a wonderful plan for it for 2025. Stay tuned - you will NOT be disappointed... W

I'm sure there will be several very good reviews up soon from well known creators who are well known for their total impartiality. Keep an eye out for them. What I will say is this: nozzle diameter is not as relevant as you think to detail capability. W

@harderairbrush I have other people saying that the 0.18 mm micron outperforms the 0.15 mm infinity. If the new 0.25 mm outperforms the 0.18 mm micron then I'll be very happy🙂. Can't waut to try out the new titanium nozzle. I already tore a 0.15 mm nozzle once and it was traumatic

I agree that the Micron outperforms our 0,15mm. We designed our 0,25mm Ti to absolutely smoke our 0.15mm. I’ll leave judgment on the Micron to others. It will always be a great airbrush 😎
