im so glad ive seen that video thank you !!!! im from germany so most of the keyboards are super hard to get for me this one was available for 110 euros if i wouldnt have seen this video i would have gone for the cidoo v65 v2 prebuilt but that would have been 150 euros

got mine and just changed the switches to akko lubed jelly blacks and I just lubed the stabs. sounds way better than cs piano imo.

Hi Doc, really appreciated your candid opinion on this keyboard as always, been waiting for this review video for weeks now 😁 Question: how do the bundled CS Piano switches compare to other popular Akko linear switches such as Cream Yellows?

Its really good. I think i like it as much as the cream yellows. Or maybe the fream yellows are just a level or two better

mac/power/win switch is under the CAPS keycap.. Do you leave it ON an in sleep mode when not in use, or you remove the caps keycap everytime to turn the keyboard on/off?

does PCB of 007 have the same layout on the monsgeek m1 PCB? I'm planning to buy a monsgeek m1 and switch the PCB on my mod 007 v2 in order to get the VIA compatibility. I also note that mosgeek and 007 have the same 1.2mm PCB.

Nice review It’s a nice keyboard, but the lack of QMK/VIA/VIAL functionality is pretty bad… I can’t imagine supporting a wired keyboard in 2023 without correct software support. That’s just not a purchase I can support. Pretty weird since the Monsgeek keyboard has it. If they could get off their butts and just support it, this would become an instant top pick in its category

@@ThockyDocKey crazy thing is China version of Monsgeek M1 doesn’t support VIA/QMK/VIAL either, so they just randomly chose to leave off support for it domestically while giving it to international markets

i find that to be less of a deal breaker with 75% up since they already have the keys and functions you need

@@coyotex850 of course some people will be fine with what it comes with, and for you, great, I don’t doubt it has what you need, but I use a lot of custom macros that need VIA(L) to set But, the point was more about adhering to open standards, making keyboards more accessible, and not standing for bloat ware/spyware installation on our computers
