Fish + beasts has almost no ceiling, the only build that can beat it is Tarecgosa Voljin with a spore with millions of health, or quilboars that prepared a zapp a few turns prior

I did this with Tess a few months ago. I faced this dude a lot, and got the golden fish pretty early on. He was sad, presumably, when I crushed him and took him out of the game. I ended up winning the lobby and it was spectacular. They hadn't patched the macaw yet, so that really helped.

As Scabbs, facing Nzoth on the first round, could you hero power on that turn to grab a quick fish? Normally, you HP on the first round. But against Nzoth or the amalgam thing, could you?

Really fun video, but its macaw was a dead card for the few rounds. Kinda greedy to go for a late macaw to maybe not trigger the mech-rez deathrattle. In the end you just had a reborn 5/4 body which did not attack one

i pulled off golden fish by even more luck: got Master Nguyen, 1st heropower - scabbs and opponent is N'zoth. Next heropower - GODDAMN RENO and i got my fish golden instantaneously. 3rd turn - already got frog AND rat (turtle spawning one). that was clown fiesta of a build, ending up fighting versus Tess who was also playing beasts. Still won tho. Too bad I didn't make screenshot, I ended up on golden reborn goldrinn, 2 golden reborn parrots, golden rivendare, hydra and golden reborn fish. Insanity as it is.

I don't think they coded in to track what gold fish can do. I think all rounds the deck tracker assumed you had regular fish because why would they code to track gold fish when it's so rare?

maybe because you could literally get a golden fish day1 of nzoth coming out? and with like any hero, not just the opponent boardtaker heropowers, casuse there is a certain dragon on tier 5, that copies a minion, hard to 3 fishes but not impossible, and also you can brann, a golden one, which only needs to hit fish once, and has 2 chances, so yeah, it should be in there.

I don't always play N'Zoth, but when I do the lobby is full of heroes that can steal cards. Feels bad. Not only do they take your hero power but the cards that go with it.
