Great info! Not sure if Navy federal changed their policy but I just got off the phone with their business department and they do require a deposit to open. Sole Proprietor would be $250 and LLC $255 I’m assuming S or C Corp would be a slightly larger deposit to open an account as well.

Navy Federal Credit Union is not good for International transaction, International Wire Transfer. No online tools. If you go to their branch, your transaction does not save in their OS. So you will spend hours to get a couple of international wire transfer. If you submit online, Navy Federal C.U call you 24 - 48 hrs. Then if they contact you, and you are not available, you have to start the whole process again.

Hey D! Unfortunately no. it’s definitely requirement for NY. Which sucks because thats just more money you have to dish out. And it’s not cheap. But they do give you 120 days from the time you establish your LLC.
