You can see how this guy is very good but sometimes even he doesn’t do the perfect move, think he was a bit stubborn as well as either moves are good in certain situations, but nevertheless he is clearly a very decent catan player.

Just because you’re a top player doesn’t mean you can’t keep improving, the insight of another super high level competitor, especially one on a slightly higher tier is super valuable

No reason to dump the ore and keeping sheep with the first robber even if the ore gonna get blocked. He have a shit ton of sheep income and cannot use it till get two roads(with a eleven brick) if they get the only ore he keep stole(as it happens). If he keep two ores and two wheats could develop with a sheep income or wait till the village so pretty dumb play.

He needed to get the sheep port before black, it's pretty simple

@@alxan3942 and keeping a sheep doesn't help with that, because he need brick and wood to do that not sheep. Keeping two ores allow him to develop also whatever the card got stoled when he get sheep in the future cause has a ton of income of it. Dumb play

@@jesusboti9801 However true in general, the black had a greater chance to steal ore if he kept it and buy a dev card. I think keeping 2 wheat and 2 wood with 1 sheep had the highest chance of securing the port, but overall, hard to say if the best play, maybe 2 wood, 2 wheat and 1 ore is the best to keep to be flexible generally.
