Yes those Cam sensors fail a lot😯but I wanted to add to your list. The MAF sensor usually a problem to but what I've learned years ago is that these cars require a software update to fix the MAF issue👌

Broken door handles 😂 main problem. Oil burning other problem that's common. Mainly 99-01 engines. Not many problems with this gen of Corolla.

Coiltrouble have this engines ofte 00-03 too, have change 4 coil, irs bad Transistors of then, have own model of 95-99, newer a trouble with coils

Other common issues: valve cover leaks, bad PCV valve, VQ oil burning due to stuck clogged sticky rings.

That noise 100% is typically bad oil and cold starts. Especially if you’re only driving a couple miles A time. Also replace your own oil, with Mobil one full synthetic. Any time you see a shop advertising for free synthetic upgrade you’re getting garbage barrel oil. Had two shops tell me it was my timing chain(car sounded like a ticking bomb) did my own research and haven’t heard that tick in 7k miles after doing it myself(little tip if you live in the Midwest even if it’s still got a few k left, change that sh*t while it’s still fall😂

What is the problem when I hear a knocking sound when I press the breaks? It’s on a 2004 Nissan Sentra 1.8S. I took it to several places and they keep saying the brakes are dirty and they just clean them but I continue to hear the knocking.

Mr Bens do you also have any vibration in the steering wheel when applying brakes?

Take it back to one of those places because they have diagnosed the car wrong. They SHOULD NOT charge you for another diagnosis. It could be a suspension part that is loose and worn out, if the brake pads and rotors look okay. If the pads and rotors do not look okay, that’s usually your issue. Usually it’s due to rust build up, warped rotors, or the pads are making noise because of their sensor. Hope this helps!

I have a question , I was having problems with my 07 Maxima , so it was loosing power at a red light and stalling So I replaced all coils , all 6 spark plugs , air filter , mass air flow sensor , but now I am getting a loud growling noise when I press down on the gas pedal , any ideas ??? Please help
