Thank you FUN for organizing this year’s Ri3D event and congratulations to Unqualified Quokkas for their well deserved win! As Tyler stated in the rankings, we’ve actually uploaded a lot of update videos onto our channel, including several build logs as well as robot demo videos, which we hope will help teams brainstorm and troubleshoot their own robot designs. In addition, we plan on uploading some more technical documentation (e.g. CAD supersketch) onto our Chief Delphi thread in the following few days as we get them finalized for release. Good luck!

Love to see quokkas in 1st, I was amazed by their reveal. Am I correct in saying that not a single team has done the trap yet? Or does anyone know of someone doing it
@FUNRoboticsNetwork Жыл бұрын
No Ri3D teams built a trap mechanism that we could see.

Thank you FUN for all of your kind words and a perfect score! It definitely feels quite surreal to have pulled this robot off - We are forever grateful for all of the community support, and want to give a special shoutout to FRC 5985 for lending us their workshop and building a field so quickly. This would not have been possible without them. We can't wait to see everyone's robots this season! If anyone is interested in more details on our build, check out our CD thread for our CAD and technical binder as well as our code. P.s Tau, we did in fact get a lot of sleep! Everyone got a good 8+ hours most days, except maybe our social media crew :P

Appreciate the kind words and while there will always be bias; Unqualified Quokkas was very deserving of the #1 spot and it was tough for the panelists to rank many teams that were close.

Only thing quokkas' robot is missing is swerve and trap and thats 10/10 season robot
@gabrielmcmahon7765 Жыл бұрын
Our team has adapted the design to Swerve but the trap is still a mystery.

Would’ve loved to see scitobor nodegammar on here. I think their under the bumper intake was pretty great!
What was the link? That one doesn't sound familiar of the top of my head and we would be delighted to check it out!
