Yes of course. In fact, by subtracting where it is from where it isn't, or where it isn't from where it is (whichever is greater), it obtains a difference, or deviation.

I’d like to know what kind of code they wrap speeds to their swerve drive in. Acceleration is so smooth and they have more control over their drivetrain than anyone else.
