@@Hargrovius Problem is, combo has been deemed "unfun" and the devs have worked tirelessly to remove combo decks from the game, shadow burn is just non-viable due to the core mechanics of HS as we've seen time and time again (healing does not generate tempo), and Priest's style of control is just too slow to work. When it isn't too slow, it's incredibly oppressive (see resurrect priest).

Aside from the broken timezones, not only it was made on a reverse of Toki idea which is not that creative, but it's more broken because each day Blizzard would have to choose a legendary, it's just kinda stupid of how much work it would take for something that isn't that good for the game. I'm surprised that reddit voted that for one of the best cards. Oh second though... nah I'm not surprised. It's reddit lol.

The only problem I see with the "Party Formed" card is that if it's implied you're making a party, that'd include your class as part of the party as well, which would make it two paladins, a warrior and a mage.

IT could be, but it is a pretty slow, more of a Control Type of play so idk If this is what Hunter wants/ needs. Normally hunter gets and stays ahead and win the game that way, because Most of the Times when hunter Falls behind he stays behind because he isnt really able to refill

@@hoffl09 That is fair, the current popular hunter lists are Face and Highlander and this card doesn't really fit into them that well. Not aggressive enough for Face and too conditional for Highlander. But it would fit well into Quest Hunter, especially the Cult Master variant.

The problem with Tar Rager is that it encourages you to go face pretty much all the time (i.e. half the flappy bird problem). It also encourages your opponent to go face if they can't kill it as it heals

With current Hearthstone mechanics, hitting an amalgam with Favored Enemy would only let you hit other amalgams (this is showed in Bob's Tavern in adventure mode where discovering an amalgam with Part of Four only gets you more amalgams) Tribe: All is not the same thing as Tribe: Murloc+Dragon+Beast etc

Yes, but it also kind of is, when Amalgam in hand activates "if you're holding a dragon"-mechanics, or "if you control a mech/murloc"-mechanics in wild. I feel like these examples are also more similar to the card than one card in Bob's Tavern, where half the rules of Hearthstone don't apply anyways

@@realiant111 I don't know about that. A card that gives another card can be good even if it ends up being slightly more expensive. I could see people running it when it's Alextrasza day, or Deathwing. In fact, a quick look at the neutral legendaries shows quite a few that could very well be worth it. Snip Snap, Zilliax, Zephrys, Colossus of the Moon, Leeroy, Malygos, Siamat... Whereas some of those cards wouldn't get run in a regular deck, having them come from a particular card can be worth it since you also get the body of the original card. It can be quite a strong value play. Another solution for the card would be to nerf its mana cost and have it summon the random legendary of the day instead. This way you don't get the insane battlecry legendaries.

6:37 I'm usually not a big fan of RNG, but as this card is already very RNG-based, it'd be interesting to just swap the classes every turn it's in your hand; First turn you can get a mage spell, paladin minion, warrior weapon. Next turn, shaman spell, hunter weapon, mage minion, etc... (Only problem would be the weapons; Some classes don't have weapons, and some might just have 1 broken OP weapon...)

I would think that Party Formed would be best in Rogue. Not only because of the stealing mechanic, but because Rogue players typically have a hard time over other classes at finding a party. So a Warrior weapon, Priest spell, and Mage minion. I picked Priest spell instead, because typically you want healing, support, or cc from a priest. Minions don't reliably do that. And Mage still does damage, but in minion form. That or you could swap Mage for Warlock. It would be all about Rogue finally finding a party, and they unite all of their power.

Fethi Boulaloua Look at the card. Heal is situational. It would pretty much always transform. If you do not put a situational use at the fist phase, then the second phase has to be better or significantly different in order to avoid you always playing the first one. Like, first deal damage and then heal would be way better design. But the real problem, the same that the worgens had, is that it's not consistent/reliable. You have to print it in already a strict specific way, and then balance it so it becomes non-trash/topdeckable to make it playable (but that goes against rule 1 of the first phase). It is way too much effort for a (not even innovating) mechanic. Tragic

@@Luca48882 You got a point but it could work, for ex as a druid specific mechanic. Wouldn't be the first time they have slow effects and it's easy to add some nature flavor on top. A random idea would be a ramp card that becomes card draw after two turns, or an armor boost that turns into hero attack buff, so you have an emergency survival option on topdeck that becomes a win condition if you can hold it a bit I didn't give it much thought and i agree it would be tricky, but idk might be a fun ride for one or two expansions.

About stealing Deathrattle; what about a card with Start of Game: Kill all Deathrattle minions in your deck. Your opponent controls their Deathrattles. The idea is that while you *do* get some powerful deck thinning, you also have to consider which Deathrattles you can handle having used against you. It does have the issue, however, of Deathrattles that benefit your opponent, the obvious case being Dancing Swords, giving -2 cards in your deck and +2 starting cards. Not sure precisely how to make it not allow purely positive interactions like that. Maybe summoning the minions for your opponent, one per turn, as 1/1s?

The funny thing I found with Eran is he forces not 'flavor of the set' decks, no he inspires 'flavor of the DAY' decks. Where you build and change decks DAILY to keep with with the 'todays legendary'. So, yeah, maybe ONE day its Shodderwock and certain classes get broken (since Shodderwock will generate Shodderwock's from Eran's battlecry THAT DAY), but then he might go weeks or months with no good legendary and never be played.

Tar rager would be terribly overpowered for anyone who is not trump just go face they either waste removal on it or over trade in to it. stall decks like mage with freeze effects just don’t have good ways to get rid of something like that needs to be taking down in one shot. That is actually way sticker then you would think especially on turn 4.

Is that really that good at all though? You are playing a 2 card combo 6 mana 3/2 to be able to target tribed minions which are only really prevalent in some classes and decks. Justicar was a neutral one card 6 mana 6/3 which although didn't grant that effect to hunters gave generally bigger power increases to all classes (including giving mage a strictly better version of that hero power) and Justicar was never close to being op. Obviously you could argue that effect would be stronger for hunters than it is for mages but is it stronger enough to make up for the extra downsides to such an extent that its op?

Tar rager doesn't work. Health goes up and down in a way that attack doest, so if he gets hit for one damage does that take from his +4 pool? Or does die at the start of the next turn. If it takes from the + 4 then he heals every turn and that's fucking broken as all hell.

Ya the Tar thing is fine because of how the mechanics of the game are calculated if it ever took a single damage on your opponents turn it will immediatly die when it goes back to your tunr as it would lose the 4 Health and then the 1 Health of actual damage after that so it would just die and its fine , if anything , its underpowered , Trump your in game mechanics are rusty
