@@Knuttonj Except getting to turn 5 to play a relatively worthless card to then hopefully maybe draw the next 5 spell is so slow and tempo demolishing that no rogue deck would play it. You either ruin your tempo on turn 5/6/7 and fall so far behind youre basically dead, or you end up playung all your good combo cards before you even have the disposable mana to play them without ruining your tempo.

But the power of double all combos is really sick, even if it's just getting 4 lackeys off a top deck

Thanks for reviewing my Alleria card! I don’t know much about WoW lore, so that’s part of the reason for the design fail. I figured rexxar would have been the better hero for it, but he already had a card and I wanted Alleria to have one, and the beast tamer concept was the only thing that popped into my head, hence the card. But I appreciate all feedback and critiques, especially from the Mayor of Valuetown!

Technically yes, but Hearthstone isn't coded that way. If a minion can't fit on the board, it just never really "existed" in the first place to die, so no, you won't draw and fatigue yourself to death. If you want to try that interaction yourself, play Cult Master and then Whispering Woods with 8 cards in hand.

For some reason I had it in my head that they get destroyed but the Animation I was thinking of was when a minion gets bounced to hand and your hand is full. Yeah if you ever try to deploy more than 7 they just.... never appear, your right! I guess there really was no fun interactions with that card haha, was also thinking of the Warlock minion that does damage when stuff dies, that'd be a fun combo, alas.

I actually thought of Hemet to summon King Krush. Since Krush is located in Sholazar Basin in WoW, and Hemet is known to occasionally tame beasts instead of hunting them, AND the pretty weak stats would fit Hemet as a character, since he is actually just a braggart that lets others do his dirty work most of the time, that seems like a pretty perfect fit flavor-wise.

Glad you liked Arthas Menethil. Design insights: - I used 'become' instead of 'transform' (like on Faceless Manipulator or Harbinger Celestia) only for flavor purposes. - As you say he's a neutral minion instead of Paladin to have more Freeze options. - Also neutral to be like The Lich King, but I wanted Paladin flavor for him and that's why he has Divine Shield. - Originally he had Taunt because The Lich King has Taunt, but then he can't be protected by another Taunt minions and I wanted that because how hard is to trigger. PS: your buff to a 5/6 seems fair to me, thanks for the review!

For the Camp Counselor card, technically there is no precedent that the 1 cost spells would be only from the class you're playing. Actually I would think precedent suggests that the spells would be from any class since Swampqueen Hagatha specifies Shaman spells. Edit: Also for Rogue not having Twinspell because it *IS* a villain class. Sure that might make sense for a card meant to be printed in Rise of Shadows. But for the next expansion, it could make sense for villain classes to have Twinspell cards considering that they succeeded in taking over Dalaran, so now they have all of its artifacts and secrets.

I think 2 mana +1/+1 is too weak. YOu could add lifesteal to it, though. Since lifesteal isn't that good to begin with, it wouldn't make much of a difference at the moment, but still be relevant in the game.

I feel like the general idea of therazane would have been interesting and quite good, as a druid card. Big druid is a thing; I like the idea of a card that says; you can only use big minions, but you get a beefy wall to start the game, at which point it becomes a question on whether that will more consistently help you get to the big minions or not.

For balancing Dog Treat: 2 Mana Twinspell Give a Beast +1 +1 If the target has been buffed by Dog Treat already, give it +3 +3 Forces buffs to need to be on same target, flavor of gaining more from a beast that already trusts/ has been fed by you. Not a great card if used on different targets, but usable. And if used on one target a single target spell or silence can counter it.

A lore fail on Arthus too since he didn't get Frozen to become the lich king. He picked up Frostmourne. Instead he could be the lich king if you have Frostmourne in ice instead. The Frostmourne minion is frozen and is like a 0/1, 0/2, 0/3 or 0/4. Then if Frostmourne is not Frozen and you control Arthus, transform into the lich king. This way you can at least bounce Frostmourne in ice or protect it with big taunts to prevent your opponent from stopping your lich king combo.

__ therazane HATES shaman and thrall in particular. If anything warriors are likely the ONLY class she might have begrudging respect for, no dirty tricks, no magic, just the strength of the earth. Not all elementals are automatically associated with shaman

Also Therazane is an elemental lord, which aside from Ragnaros are exclusive to shaman, and I think in general should be. There's also a new firelord after Ragnaros that could one day be a shaman exclusive legendary.
