To be fair though, if you look at the gamestate, he probably would have won anyway, especially considering that if no owl, it would have benn another strong beast, not nothing and he could already clear, he was in complete control. The owls only made it faster. The opponent also got lucky with getting blackguard both times with heal synergy and for instance killing the stealth poison which is a good answer to any huge minion.

@@wynaughtify I agree. The game was already over when Trump played Deathstalker Rexxar. You can play it out if you like, and maybe Trump gets garbage zombeasts, but it's pretty hard to compete with infinite value as a control deck.

I think there was about a 2% chance of Trump losing that game anyways, he could deal with both large guys by expending a few more resources and was ahead by so much with Rexxar hero power I don't think it would have mattered at all.

why is the comment section filled with this? he was ahead before that. just because you get lucky in a game and win doesnt mean you won BECAUSE you got lucky, some decks are just not very good. some decks are. his deck was better than the enemy's so he won, simple as that. you can highroll all you want but at the end of the day if your deck has a higher winrate than the enemys its because its better, not RNG.

Its not outright better, it just has more utility from Zul'Jin and probably more Rexxar value. Secret Hunter is more tempo-oriented, so their favored matchups differ from each other.

@@laurilampela8332 They appeared to be far more consistent then it would seem and the strategist has given quite good results wise in like extra companions deadly, explosive shot or cetra and KC still closes alot of games. You have wofles sneks or other stuff and quite helpful when you're rexxar.

15:37 - Trump missed lethal. He could have picked the timber wolf + the stonetusk boar. He had 8 mana and the timber boar costs 2 mana. He still has 6 mana, which he uses to play double kill command (one on the 3/9, and the other one face{19-5 = 14}). The owl with +1 attack kills the 3/9 which is now a 3/4. Because the owl dies the hienna gets +2 attack and has 12 attack. The hienna + the charging boar go face for 14 damage which is lethal.

Why would you play this over straight spell-hunter? If you're going to build a deck around Zul'Jin, why not make it an autowin card if/when played? The main reason to be playing Subject 9 Hunter in the prior meta was that it it could beat up on slower decks (like spell&deathrattle hunter) but without diremoles, razormaws and Houndmasters this deck is slower and lacks the power spike that To My Side provides. Try to do too many things and you end up failing at all of them.

been wrecking with baku hunter because everyone expects spell or secret and face is the place during the first week of every expansion release. gunna wait a while to craft zuljin since spell hunter is sooo boring to play. tough to say which control hunter will come out on top, 10 mana do nothing in secret hunter seems very underwhelming. you might get 1 spellstone and a bear but its a very weak board swing and rexxar is your win condition against control, the retrap is good against aggro but your not making it to turn 10. Chief Inspector is a card.

Missed leathal with Halazzi build a beast. Ran all the linxs into the taunt, and then kill commanded to clear it, scavenging hyena would have had 18 attack, candle shot is one more, that was 19 health lethal.

Pretty sure the full spell hunter is better, DS Rexxar, Zul’jin and Rhok’delar just never runs out of steam. Been farming hunters with kingsbane rogue since hitting rank 5 though
