Me neither! I think it largely comes down to skill. Some of the high end stuff (in my case more ‘medium end’ 🥴) does sort of ‘apply itself,’ but on a day when I’ve a bit more time? No difference.

I agree, neither have I been able to. I think I got my methods and routines down with my skills, because people always get surprised that ALL my makeup and skincare is lowest of the lowest end dupes and cheapest everything, because that's just where my budget lies. I've seen very expensive people wear very expensive makeup and skincare, where I think that I'd be worried to see what they looked like without all that money to buy the best of the best skincare, treatments and hair & makeup if they don't even look that great now with all that applied. Sorry for my harsh judgement 🙈

I haven’t personally tried the Dior blush because the price tag is outrageous to me, but I’ve heard that the CoverGirl cheekers blush in Pink Candy is a dupe for it! I have tried that and I really enjoy the youthful flush it gives me

I was in a local drugstore looking at a Guerlain limited edition bronzer that had a bit of sparkle. It was very enticing but the color looked like it wouldn't work for my skin tone. But she referred me to the Physicians Formula butter bronzer. She said she wouldn't normally refer to a drug store one but said she really liked it. I didn't get it at that location because I never tried it and wasn't sure. But later I was at the same drugstore, different location, and got it. Such an easy bronzer to use. I'm really fair and don't want to buy something I just won't use for whatever reason or want to return it because it's so expensive. What a good find.

Love dupes! But I recently tried the Neutrogena HH Serum foundation and it did not work at all for me. I found it had 0 coverage and accentuated my pores. I’ll be returning it. The cover girl lip balm is great tho. And stays on pretty well.

I am always thankful to see a formula dupe for loreal! Everyone talks about the lack of shades from different companies but they are mostly talking about lack of depth, us pink girls are grossly unrepresented!!! Loreal doesnt have a single pink undertone shade in nearly all of their formulas!

Zabrena, have you ever tried the L.A. Girl HD Pro Coverage foundation? It’s between $6-9ish bucks depending on where you buy it but it’s my absolute favorite! It gives such a pretty, healthy glow and is full coverage. 🙂

The L'Oreal serum and the maybelline mascara are everyday standards for me 😁 I have used the roller lash for years, but it always transfered on me. I put up with it because I loved the way my lashes looked. However, ever since I bought the Maybelline one, my roller lash is collecting dust in the drawer. Thanks for sharing! Hugs from Prague 🥰

I jumped on the Clinique Black Honey lip tint. I was very interested in this because I’ve been hopelessly looking for a great balm for my dry lips. Sadly I’m very uninterested in even keeping this in my purse or my pocket. I found a off brand of lip oil off of Amazon that I love. It was less than 7.00 dollars compared to the 22 for Clinique. High end doesn’t guarantee better. So glad I came across your channel

I think if the L'Oreal serum foundation ($20/oz) is too steep, the Wet n Wild Tinter Hydrator ($5 or $6) feels the same to me, and both are GORGEOUS; the L'Oreal and w+w I shades I use are completely different colors, but somehow they blend out similarly on my face.

I can't wait to see the skin care dupes ,even though I'm 47 ,and dry skin :) idk I bought the loreal serum foundation ,maybe it's the color I got medium light ,and I'm not impressed with it . I still prefer the Purito Cica BB, it looks more luminous on me ,and only 9 bucks ,and some change on Amazon . So I think I will he returning the 20 dollar bottle of Loreal to Ulta. I have both the Nars light reflecting and the L'Oreal serum foundations. I find the Nars a lot thicker, and the L'Oreal easier to apply. But I'm not looking for heavy coverage; when I do use the Nars, I cut it 50/50 with moisturizer to make it thinner and less full. I just hate the look of foundation. I want pretty skin!

I was very disappointed in the Clinique Black Honey. After waiting months and months to get my hands on it at that. The color is beautiful. It's actually almost perfect on my lips but i find the formula to be lacking. For me i just felt like it didn't go on as smooth and comfortable as i like my lip products to feel. I also felt that it didn't really have great staying power. I understand it's not meant to be long wear but after about 20 minutes it was almost completely gone and i needed to reapply and i wasn't drinking coffee or talking a lot. For that price point i expect better performance. I will most certainly be trying the Cover Girl 🙂

Hi Zabrena, is it too late for you to add a dupe for Tacha silk canvas priming balm? I sampled it in Sephora and it was amazing! My favourite is a bar soap I get from the Dollar Tree. Sugar Soapworks is woman owned small business, and their Oatmeal + Coconut soap is gentle but effective. A tiny bit of clarifying shampoo takes care of the few stains it doesn't handle. Hope that helps. Happy winter to you! ❄️🤍❄️
