Blake wasn’t wrong for releasing those texts. Caelynn tried to spin the story and make him look horrrrrrrrible on national television and paint him to be a womanizer. He had a right to defend himself in order to save his reputation.

Sometimes it doesn’t matter how sorry you are, if your actions caused someone else to potential have their entire name tarnished and their livelihood ruined, then that person is entitled to do whatever it takes to ensure their reputation doesn’t go down the toilet. Hopefully that was a big lesson for them both.

Double standard with Blake. He had to defend himself - she was wild on paradise with what she said and she admired to overreacted and apologised to him but the damage was done publicly. She should have come out and said something about it and moved the heat off him.

I genuinely think this has a lot to do with Caelyn's history but even then its such a weird thing to do. Like she could be telling truth about her assault AND be lying about Blake. Like the two can coexist. It's weird and people are multifaceted. The cuddling the media does to its audience is wild.

She literally slxt shamed him basically on national tv. It's so bizarre, cause us women go through it every day in every aspect, so for a woman to be so petty due to rejection and in order to victimise herself, she must have some narcisssistic and manipulative tendancies and some emotional instability and immaturity issues. She doesn't seem like a bad person and she is tolerating Dean now, which speaks on its own on the emotional labor she's capable of as a person, cause he has become a very narcissistic person himself (being a product of such familial trauma ongoing till adulthood so he has become emotionally disconnected as a person, so to find a person like her tolerating him giving her emotional crumbs and basically nothing and her giving him back everything, he should feel beyond blessed), so it looks like she is a good person who did a pretty bad thing. I hope she has actually matured and apologized but it still won't make up for how much unnecessary trauma she gave Blake and how much she stigmatised him and completely assassinated his character for no actual reason. I think it all stemmed from the fact that she misjudged him and her not having a one night stand with a guy she wanted but he didn't want her back yet was respectful enough to let her know the entire time that it was just that. A one night stand. So she couldn't handle it. Her emotionally incapable brain and her own issues and ego couldn't let her process reality correctly so she did what she thought was right and the objective truth. But her feelings aren't the truth. Especially when it was all completely communicated. As I said I hope she has matured and she certainly doesn't deserve to be with an emotionally inadequate person like Dean, but damn, she destroyed Blake mentally for months and on national television. It's insane. It seems to me that her issues are deeper. Maybe he was a trigger of her past seggsual assault and she felt used again. But it still doesn't take away from the fact that this is not an excuse to completely lie about a situation and a person just to make them look bad on camera, even after you apologised. She has a lot to figure out and a lot of maturing to do.

I think it would have been different if Caelynn just said she was hurt and emotional at the time when she making the comments (which I think is true) just to take some heat off him. But, if she wasn’t willing to publicly say anything, I can understand why he released the texts

I believe two things can be true. On the show when she talked to him he was just worried about his image and even said “my family will see who I am” “ I need to make changes for better”. She didn’t lie. He made her feel that way. He told her to lie about them. She was upset of him talk to her and pretend she wsnst there and they never met! Sorry I just watched this season lol

@@lovelivi1591 the thing is that, not that it's admirable, but still you have to give it her, she's self aware of her inflated ego and her narcissistic tendancies and she doesn't sell them as good things, she recognises them to be errors in her character and actual flaws and she didn't want to strung along the other person for the sake of the relationship nor has she ever blamed her. She admitted that it was her fault and that she wasn't ready for a marriage and that at the end of the day she was not her person. And that to me shows that she's not an actual narcissist, she's just not ready to be there emotionally for another person and she still has a long way to go in terms of character development. Admitting the wrong in her ways so openly is half of the job and actual progress if you ask me.

As for Caelynn, it wasn't right to lie but it looks like she has grown from it. Caelynn is travelling all over the world w/ Dean which has helped her grow & mature into a lovely young lady. Being out of the lime light helps too.

Despite his reasoning being validated, the ACT of Blake releasing the texts was wrong. It's personal, regardless of what was said. He should have given Caelynn a heads up beforehand. I mean we all know Caelynn was lying through her teeth here, but that doesn't excuse the disrespect of releasing private messages without consent. I don't think Blake's a bad guy though. He knew that he didn't do anything wrong prior to the text release and he just felt like he needed to clear his name. He just chose the wrong way to go about it.

So Caelynn's revenge was to lie about him because she was hurt but honestly, she should have been mature and dealt with her hurt privately instead of lying about Blake on national TV.
