The guard stays up on the chairlifts, too. While it's an odd pairing, I do think that DPS needed an infusion of something different, and Ted certainly provides that change. The hope is that it's a mutually beneficial partnership for sure--maybe Ted will unlock something about DPS that will take them to the next level--I've always loved the Pagoda/Wailer 100 RP skis and that carbon feel. The price? Not so attractive.

Can anyone recommend a ski that is good for the piste but also good for powder. Would be my first year at the park. So something not too blatant

Piste, powder, and park point to a mid to upper 90's twin tip like the Black Crows Camox, Rossignol Blackops 98, or Nordica Unleashed 98.

If you need something that will destroy your business day at a computer; Lonely Mountains, initially Lonely Mountains : Downhill (A very good and creative downhill mountain biking realistic arcade game circa 2020 PC, Xbox, PS4, Switch), has released their demo from their coming Lonely Mountains : Snow Riders. It is the same game, but with skiing and very well done snow tracks, imho. I wouldn't take that plunge, if you value your free time remaining free.
