Hello! First, I’d like to say I adore you both and enjoy your channel a lot. I just wanted to say, I was watching a travel channel documentary today called “las Vegas sucker bets”. At about the 27 minute mark of the video, a gentleman (can’t recall his name) said that when a bank of slot machines states 99% payback, that every machine in that bank has to payback 99% over the long run. I believe at one time, Steve told me that only one machine in that bank has to pay back that amount. Please correct me if I’m wrong. Maybe there’s a difference between the ones that state “UP TO 99% payback” and “99% payback” keep up the great work!
@TheJackpotGents5 жыл бұрын
If a bank says "99% payback" then all machines must pay 99%. If a bank says "up to 99% payback" then as long as one machine is set to 99% the statement is correct. All of the other machines could pay much less.

I wonder if the same holds true for slot tournaments. The three that I participated in - each time, the people that won and placed were all top tier players. Doesn't seem fair. Is there an issue of players getting backed-off from machines as there is in BJ? I heard that a lot of casinos won't allow two players to use one card, period. Is it that much of a problem with two people playing on one card? Has malware hit any machine games yet? @TheJackpotGents5 жыл бұрын
It depends on the casino. Each is different. If you ask at the players club desk they might tell you. If not, you can sometimes tell by the terms of the promotions they run. For example, they will say for a particular promotion the points must be earned between 7am and 6:59 am the next day. That would let you know that their day begins at 7am.

Any tips on getting comped hotel rooms in Vegas? I go weekly to a local casino, and get free rooms and free play weekly. Any way to get anything similar to a Vegas property if I haven't been there in years? Thanks
@TheJackpotGents5 жыл бұрын
Do you play table games or machines? Either way, you could call and ask for a casino host.Tell them you are going to be visiting and ask what kind of action is needed to get your room comped for your stay. I'm sure they will give you a good idea of what is needed. Also, be sure to ask if the daily resort fee is comped too. Keep in mind that smaller downtown properties would probably require the least amount of play. The Four Queens has no daily resort fee on their rooms, but the El Cortez charges $16.89 per day.

Table game players also get comps, but they don't get freeplay to use on the machines. However, sometimes they get matchplays which are free bets that must be matched with an equal amount of money. For example, with a $25 matchplay you bet it along with a $25 chip. If you win you get paid $50 and if you lose, you only lose your $25 chip. They are only valid on even-money bets and they are only valid for one bet. However, if the bet ends in a push/tie then you can use it again.

@@TheJackpotGents Are cruise ships allowed to have tighter slots? They aren't subject to gaming regulations? Can you elaborate on this?
@TheJackpotGents4 жыл бұрын
The slots on those cruise ships are "tighter" than you would find in most casinos, but they I am quite sure they aren't outrageously low and the machines are fine to play, as long as you don't mind getting low returns. I have been on a few of those cruise lines and I check the video poker pay tables to see what kind of returns are offered. They are notoriously low and probably about 3-5% below what you would find in the average casino. I would assume that the slots are set about the same way.

I've a question🤔 My mom receives quite a good amount of free slot play every month and there has been a couple of times in were she hasn't gone to the casino and play it all month so what I do is go and play it myself, I just put her card and pin number in the slot machine and that's it. But my question is, if I win a jackpot while playing with her free play money, will they pay me or would they void it and don't pay me?
@TheJackpotGents5 жыл бұрын
Usually, when two of us play on one card the other person is there at the same time. If you won a jackpot of $1,200, or more, that would require a hand-pay and the issuance of a W2G. If your mom's card is in the machine and she isn't present at the machine I believe that you would have to explain what you did when they came to pay you because they would want to pay the person whose card was in the machine. It would then be up to the casino as to what they wanted to do. Some casinos may not care while some casinos may consider it a violation of their policies and give you a hard time about getting paid. Therefore, I would suggest that you make sure to never bet enough money to generate a payout of over $1,200. Just make smaller bets, or play quarter video poker where the maximum award is 4,000 credits ($1,000). That would solve the problem.

One Question for you guys, is what if I can't go to the Casino to play my Freeplay before it expires, what happens if I give my friend MY players card, my pin number and he plays on my Freeplay and hits a hand pay jackpot with my card in the machine ? Would anyone get in trouble for this, and would he be able to collect, or would the Casino make me actually go to the casino to collect the jackpot ? Thanks ! I also have a friend who is constantly taking his card out of the machine thinking the card is preventing him from winning !! Thanks, good luck in the future !
@TheJackpotGents5 жыл бұрын
From what we have been told, hitting a hand pay on another person's card could be VERY bad. It would be less bad if it was a relative such as a spouse but if it is not a relative the casino views that very poorly. I have heard of people picking up others free play and being accused of stealing it and being tresspassed from the casino and not being legally allowed back. And that was with no hand pay, I would imagine a hand pay would make things much worse.
@TheJackpotGents5 жыл бұрын
If you REALLY want someone else to pick up your free play (which is not the best idea but it happens), make sure they play a game where a hand pay is not possible such as single line quarter video poker or even money blackjack on a game king machine

2:15 I realize and understand that there are regulations in place. I guess what I ponder is when have regulations or threats of fines ever really served as a deterrent for corporate America of ANY profession let alone gambling? Time and time again the fines are more a slap on the wrist rather than an actual measurable penalty. It's seen in media, health care, food, and social networking. Far too often, fines are just seen as the cost of doing business. Until the fines and penalties surpass the profit of doing something wrong, ANY business, gambling included, will act accordingly.

I totally agree. Here's an example of what I'm talking about, if you put $500 in the machine and you win you lose you win you lose and the next role will break it down to under $400 that next role guaranteed will be a losing roll and 90% of the time the next role will be also. Can you go back to winning or losing winning losing. So anytime you get to where you have one roll and you'll be under $100 for the next $100 I guarantee every time it will be a losing roll. My theory is they figure if you break into the next hundred you will say to yourself well I'm already under $400 and that's where I wanted to really stop so I'll play to $300 instead. That's why I feel using a player's card lets them know exactly how much money you have left in the machine. It's just my opinion but next time your playing pay attention to see if you agree. That's why I pull my card out,cash out and put a fresh $100 bill in and bam I get a nice hit.
@Veaseify5 жыл бұрын
They don't need to fix anything, the payback on machines is set so that they win a set percentage over the lifetime of the machine. Some people win, some people lose but over millions of plays if a machine is set to 96% the casino keeps 4% of everything put through it.
