Hey bud! I have one that I’m getting ready to maiden. I’m going electric as well. Thought about doing gas but I had an electric setup ready. Any idea on the nose weight to CG it?

Matt, with the rimfire 1.20, and esc mounted on the firewall, the 2 3s batteries, the plane balanced perfectly as per the instructions callout. I did not add any extra weight

Sadly Horizon bought tower hobbies and seems to have replaced all quality balsa ARF's with cheap foam junk. I checked Tower Hobbies website and EVERY thing is listed unavailable!

It is a sad thing when a company like HH takes over a company. They have been dismantling their competition one by one and it is really sad.

@@GBLynden yes indeed...too bad Hangar 9 stopped making the 182s. I had the 40 sized they offered about 15 yrs ago..(or more). 62" wing span. Really nice bird...and flew well..my dumb ass put an old reciever battery in it ..thinking it would hold up...WRONG ANSWER....lol...the plane made great kindling...lmao. At least i was able to salvage the engine, servos...etc. That was a "live and learn" moment indeed

@@GBLynden yessir it is. And I have learned a lot about this hobby. Ground checks most importantly...lol. Im also happy with the progression of the hobby over the last 20 yrs or so...Radios, recievers, servos...etc has really evolved. Making the hobby more user friendly. More people than ever is into it now. OBVIOUSLY...because every plane on the market seems to be on backorder...
