It’s faster around the Nurburgring compared to a McLaren P1 which costs 3 times as much in today’s market. Sure, you don’t get the high tech self-adjusting spoiler nor is it built from carbon fiber from head to toe, but it’s still faster around the lap and that’s MINDBLOWING

The only thing wrong in Clarkson's review is that the SL Black Series is actually faster than the McLaren SLR, in a straight line even more so than on curves.

Have a Kleemann tuned SL600. It is by far the quickest, yet least dramatic, of the 50+ cars I have owned. Including a Katech C5R powered Mk1 CTS-V. If I had $200k, I’d be in an SL65 AMG Black.

@@matts.1042 I love the Benz two doors but I thought the AMG GTS was stiff and of course they’re supposed to be for tracking but the porsches aren’t as stiff I was wondering if the two doors at Benz are all like that

@@dee8558 the SL has a hydraulic suspension that gives when needed and doesn’t allow roll in hard cornering. Expensive to maintain. But worth it IMO.
