One of the best rally game at the time thanks to the Nintendo 3D machine, there were some absolute gems like the echo in the tunnels or the cars getting damaged

and the surrounding is 3D, this is the only game with detailed 3D surroundings!

4:53 I used to goof off in this area on the left between the two routes. Seeing all the different ways I could launch or flip the car. That’s what I remember most about this game. And also trying to stay in control in the super intense shortcuts on many of the tracks

I did exactly the same my brother :)

I remember I spent hours to draw some sexy +18 painting on my cars, saved it on the memory pak, and won all races with a big smile. Lol
Man I rented this game at family video probably 10+ times.

I don't remember the city in the desert track, I think it has been a long time since I played. Youa re really good taking a curve, I have the habit of not breaking and slamming the rails, lol
@Lightblue22225 жыл бұрын
Yea you gotta pretend it's real life, with fear of slamming the wall, youl press the brake. hehe

I'd just exploit the game and let the rails slingshot me into the straight aways.

What will it happen if you get to go off the pathway in that point? 10:59 Will the car fall down into the sea? or is there a sort of invisible barrier to limit that area?
@WatchmeplayNintendo9 жыл бұрын
I think there's a barrier preventing it from happening.
@blop17389 жыл бұрын
+WatchmeplayNintendo I hope so because I love racing game having no stops or delays. I dont know this game but looking your playing it seems allow no delay if car gets crash or bumb against objects or road sides. It's cool, but I was just noe watching the second chapter, that Top gear Rally 2 and looks far superior to this one, doesnt it?
@WatchmeplayNintendo9 жыл бұрын
I haven't played Top Gear Rally 2. I've heard complaints about it though.

The gear its manual or automatic ?
@avenuePad5 жыл бұрын
Manual. You can pick either, but they picked manual for this video. It's really the only way to play. Automatic is for n00bs. ;P
@someguy89515 жыл бұрын
@@avenuePadbut I find manual hard does that count
@KenDaKingArrives2 ай бұрын
@@someguy8951 I know I'm late and you may know this by now, but, in all genres of gaming there is an "optimal" way to play if you're serious about doing the best job possible or even being competitive. In racing games, part of that "optimal" gameplay is learning to use manual transmission, period. You can't be taken seriously if you don't use it so just play for fun then. We have our strengths/weaknesses, but not everything good comes easy, as they say.
