Question: I was thinking yesterday, that when we see lights going crazy on these types of videos, could it be someone screwing with the fuse box off camera? I don't know much about electrical systems but is that even a possibility?

Depends. With smart light switches/bulbs someone can just do it from a phone with ease now

That is a possibility but an issue in general. If you switch off the fuse box like that it immediately cuts off power to the house, sadly it won't make a cute power off sound like in movies, BUT it WILL damage any and all electrical devices connected to outlets that aren't intended to have their power cut off like that. For example...your PC or laptop can be completely fried from such an occurrence. It's why it's heavily suggested you get a surge protector so it doesn't fry your PC even if it shuts off, or even a UPS so you can safely shut off your PC during a power outage. SO while that could be the case....it will end up fucking over their devices. I lost an entire PC power supply (and the mobo got dmged) from ONE power outage, and my dad flipping switches in the box like you suggest.
