Absolutely brilliant James. You'll have a million subs by the end of the year, no doubt.! I didn't realise how much of a sheltered life I've had. Her recollections were of things I've only seen in films. Very heartfelt & honest. It seemed like your interview was very cathartic for her. I wish her every success with her book & life. A real survivor.! Bless up bro 👊

People like danielle keep me going and make me realise things could be so much worse. Well done you for being brave and also taking responsibility for your life choices. She doesn't deserve her son she made a choice when she had him and she chose wrong once you get to smack and crack your low life scum maybe she got beat as karma for making people beg for drugs, imagine her son being shot when her yard got shot up? Would she forgive herself then or would that not be her fault ?

Hey. Honestly I can’t believe people are saying she bought this on herself. Makes me feel SICK. She was a 12 year old in the hands of a older man who completely changed her and led her down this path. She was a victim and glad you see this too. These people obviously haven’t been through anything traumatic as a young person ❤️
@LilyTheCat151
@LilyTheCat151 Жыл бұрын
@@melissarose2311 It's possible to be a victim and a perpetrator of crime. Being a victim doesn't really absolve her from what she's done. The sooner her issues are dealt with the better. She can't be allowed to ignore the harm she has done. She doesn't appear able to empathise with her victims. That is reasonable considering the life she has had and led. Blocking things out has allowed her to survive but she can't go through life not thinking about the consequences for others when she does something. I'm not criticising her, it's merely an observation. That she herself referred herself to therapy is a very good sign. She clearly understands and has some insight into her own thoughts and her issues.

Danielle's book is a hard read but important,should be available in all schools so young people see the reality behind what seems an exciting and glamorous life to too many young people,until they get sucked in and effectively trapped. I do really feel for things she was clearly groomed into at an early age but it does seem she had plenty of chances to escape that lifestyle, yet still chose to put herself and her child in dangerous situations whilst being fully aware of the possible reprocussions. A very interesting episode, I feel that she is somewhat remorseful because her son was taken away from her. If you understand psychopathy, you can see she has clear traits of a psychopath. I understand she was targeted at a young age, but she, as a clear headed individual who never took drugs or alcohol, committed so many atrocities. Her PTSD being 'complexed' sounds about right, because people with this trait usually feel no emotions toward hurting others to get ahead, and in this podcast it feels like she is saying things which she thinks people want to hear to sympathise with her. Our country is being governed by these very same type of people, politicians, etc. That's my overall analysis after hearing her story, it's sad what has happened to her and what she has gone through, but it seems she had at multiple times, the option to get out and change her life but chose not to.

@@SUZYPAYNEMaybe, why was she allowed or chose to be in the company of fully grown men at that age? A inconvenient truth is we have a nation with many poor or lazy parents which is what allowed that to happen more than likely. I have sympathy for her first ordeal. Yes, that's one incident of her rapist grooming her, all the following times she chose a lifestyle that created and added to the misery of others and ruined lives, herself included. Just because someone has been the victim once doesn't absolve them of responsibility going forward. She chose her gang affiliations and didn't like the consequences of that life, lay with dogs and you'll get fleas.
@nlcnlcnlc

Why don't you realise she didn't even begin healing from the grooming that's literally what grooming does... it makes you vulnerable to more grooming unless you have been supported enough to heal from it AND realise what it does to you. Sooo many people who have been groomed, sexually assaulted or sexually abused end up getting assaulted numerous times after the first time. It literally makes you more likely to become a victim again once you have become a victim. There is statistics about this and its well known. Its obvious she has only began processing and healing from these events, even if she did get herself into some of those situations, she got into them because she is vulnerable.
@nlcnlcnlc
@nlcnlcnlc 2 жыл бұрын
It also doesn't have to be a sustained pattern of grooming. Sexual assault and grooming can happen once and ruin everything in your life for the rest of your life if you don't get supported or you get zero chance to heal and grow from it.

Very interesting. I disagree with you James that everyone has some goodness in them. There are some (only a tiny minority) who are pure wrong 'uns. But, I do see your point. I think your guest has a lot of goodness. County Lines cause nothing but misery and the Police have done a masterful job smashing a lot of them up. It is interesting to listen to this interview.

And yeah she blames it all on "White privilege". Stupid girl. You know I'm really, really getting tired of so many girls and boys like this. Take some God damn responsibility. I agree with you here. She was quite young when this happen. Albeit I remember being 13 and understanding the risk of making certain decisions. When she says that in her early teens she craved for the protection from a father, should be remembered by absent fathers and single mothers who chose to be single for their own reasons. The truth is that all kids need a dad to give them a sense of protection and for giving children a stable and safe upbringing.

When I was a pawn for fraud. I ended up getting set up by my best friend and boyfriend. And ended up getting held at gun point and raped and beaten. I wanted to finally speak up about it as I feel women and young girls need to know not to get them self involved in gangs in london as to this day I am traumised. Is there anything you can do? And help me to preach what I need to say. Thanks
