Is Squash rootstock hardier than another variety of Cucumber? Also, do you sell those clips? Those could also be used just to secure plants and I like them much better than the bigger ones commonly sold on the market!

We have found that this specific squash rootstock lends itself to the success of cucumber grafting. There may be hardier cucumber rootstock out there but we have not trialed them. why dont you use the hole insertion routine ?

Why graft? Don't they grow from seed?

Disease resistance would be my guess.

For the same reasons anything is grafted. Favorable traits in the root stock and scion combine to make a better plant.

to rescue from the fuserium wilt and some other diseases etc ..And also to get higher yield
