Just a few heads up for you. When you're in different cities and the speed is like 55 or 65mph. I always go a few mph slower and I'll stay in the middle lane. So i do not have to keep changing lanes in traffic. Also buy so ear plugs for the noise and stay bless , you got this. ✌🏾

Good job girl! When I started driving 39 yrs. a go, I asked my dad about it, he said, " Son get some experience, you will always be able to put bread and butter on the table". You get and keep your license, you can always drive a truck, I have seen people, going to college, and driving on weekends.

Get yourself a Pilot/Flying J, Love's and Petro/T.A. points card a.s.a.p. Your points will give you free showers when fueling 50-60 gallons. The points will also be helpful for GPS's, CB's, Blue Parrot's or Reserve Parking. My trainer never told me about these points cards, and for 4 weeks as a team, he took all the points and this left me asking him to get me a shower. And guess what? He didn't like showering. Get those cards when you go to the truck stops.

That was my number one company maverick but couldn’t get hire cause of driving record. Once you do your research and think it’s fit for you, I say do it. Definitely look like pretty decent company

I’m studying to go take my permit in 3 weeks debating on if I should go to CDL school with knight or prime just doing research right now because I know you have to drive for a year with the company after getting licensed which I have no problem with just want to go right route. What age can you go to the program with knight? Do they pay you as your training and how much if you don’t mind me asking ?

I didn’t do the program with knight. I got my cdl on my own so you would have to speak with arecruiter to get those questions answer. Good luck with everything.

Top Gun is the name of the program the company has.

It’s program that’s more “intense” on backing, trucking info and company. It’s only 2-3 to a class. You have sleep in truck to get that experience. You also get take a week off being with your trainer. For example if you had be with your 4 weeks and you did top gun program you would only have to 3 weeks now.
