People tend to learn an accent from their teachers. They want either English or American, probably Australian so that the student has those accents.

Not sure TOEFL certificate serves the same purpose as they’d specifically require that you are trained to be a teacher. You can post ads for a private teaching job on Craigslist or the Facebook pages. And also look up for vacancies. Goodluck 🙏

I went on their site, paid for the course, enrolled, Studied and did all the test and was awarded the certification.

Hello, from what I have gathered so far, it can be done but you need some good amount of money (not sure how much) to get a business registered and running here especially if you want to have a physical location. And I guess the type of business matters too. I’d try to gather more information 😘

Every Turk I’ve met wants to learn English with a British or an American accent, not just from anyone who speaks English fluently…

My guess on why they don't consider Nigerians native speakers(although they are) is because the accent is so different from the most known English speaking countries in the world. People generally want a more neutral accent.

Nope. It's because English is nt the sole language in Nigeria. Although a lot of people speak English in Nigeria, Nigeria has its own distinct main languages.

@@Muslima-sv9bq Being Muslim is not a problem or to wear a headscarf in Turkey. recruitment of women rather than men in Turkey is much easier. A bachelor's degree is not really essential but of course you better get it. If you know any job really well (I am not talking about knowing in a professional sense), that is, if you are knowledgeable about how the job is done, you can easily find a job after a few interviews.In the first few months of your job (3-6 months), you are not given a lot of work and they do not force you.The cities where you can find a job faster are İstanbul, İzmir, Ankara, Bursa, Konya, Antalya, Eskişehir, etc.

It's a struggle to watch this video as it takes her so long to get to the actual descriptions of the jobs and when she finally starts she easily gets sidetracked. I suggest not trying to wing it and make it up as you go along and then posting the video with little or no editing. Notes and rehearsal can lead to a dramatic improvement, otherwise you are just wasting everyone's time. Terrible.

Yes there are a few African saloons and apart from the saloons, there are people (African stylist) that make hair on demand.

Sidra Zeb it is safe. I did not say it isn’t. It’s just better to live with someone in a foreign country in my opinion Incase if emergencies, but that’s fine as when you get here, you can make friends. You have no issues living alone too. Your choice .

Nigerians are NOT "NATIVE SPEAKERS" of English language. you have a thick Nigerian accent that makes it difficult to comprehend. I would not like for my child to learn English from you and pick up your Nigerian accent.
